I didn't get to see Luke at school on monday or tuesday because he was missing and when I asked him what was wrong he told me that he was having a cold so he wasn't able to come to school.

On tuesday Michael and I decided to visit Luke after school, and when he opened the door, he greeted us normally and seemed alright even though he actually looked a bit sick, but when we asked to come in he said that one of his friends were over and he didn't want that many people to be there right now. Rude.

I asked Luke about his friend and he told me that his name was Lewis and he was in his grade. Michael nodded, he seemed to know that guy.

Luke didn't even kiss me as Michael and I left, he said it was because he was sick but I was pretty sure that there was something else going on.

Michael and I got back into the car and Mike said:"Well that was weird"

"More than weird" I agreed.

Michael started driving and after a few seconds of silence Mike said:"Um Bella, I know this Lewis guy"

I shrugged, "So?"

"He's up to no good, you wouldn't like him at all"

"Why not?"

"He's just bad, does lots of drugs, drinks way too much and treats girls like shit"

I groaned, then I said:"If you think Luke could turn into that kind of dude, you're wrong, Michael."

"Bella, we both know how Luke can be, what if he's changing to the worse again?"

"He's not. You don't know him like I do" I screamed at Michael and it got quiet in the car.

"I'm sorry Michael, I didn't mean to scream at you. I'm just confused because Luke's being so weird again and I don't like that he's hanging out with that Lewis dude."

Michael just shrugged and said:"It's alright, just be careful with Luke please."

I promised Michael to be and got out of the car in front of my house.

As soon as I was inside, I texted Luke "Are you alright? You're acting weird since Saturday"

It only took seconds until I saw Luke's reply "I'm fine, don't worry :-)xx"

I groaned and softly threw my phone onto my bed, then I turned around, wrote a wuick note for my mum and went outside to visit my dad's grave. I hadn't been there for quite a while and being at the grave always made me feel better.

I talked to my dad for about half an hour, but it suddenly got very cold, so I made my way back home.

I wasn't far from our house when I suddenly heard a voice behind me.

"Gabriella Walker?"

I turned around to face a girl that looked familiar, I recognized her to be a grade above me at school, but I didn't even know her name.

"Um yes?" I said and looked around unsure.

"Hey, I'm Kylie." the dark haired girl said.

"Hey?" I asked still suspicious of this whole thing. Normally people didn't just walk up to me and start a conversation, I was used to being treated like air.

"Um i'm a grade above you at school" well I had that figured out already "You're dating Luke Hemmings, aren't you?"

This started to get even more weird, but I just nodded, so she added:"It's not my business or anything but no girl deserves to be Luke's girlfriend."
