I just started running and I didn't bother to look back when I heard Luke cussing and screaming my name.

He had told Ashton a lie to keep us from being close, that sucked but it wasn't as much of a big deal, the real issue was that Luke had told him the lie a while ago and didn't even seem guilty at all and he still had the guts to tell me that he loved me and actually slept with me while knowing he told Ashton such a lie.

I kept on running while my vision got blurry because of all the tears that streamed down my face - how could I have trusted Luke that much?

I didn't want to go home because I knew that Luke would try to find me there so I just kept on walking until I was at Michael's house.

"What the hell happened?" Michael asked shocked as he quickly wrapped his arms around me.

"Luke" I sobbed into Michael's chest and he held me tight and walked me to his room where he just quietly handed me a tissue and waited for me to calm down and then I told him the whole story.

"The worst thing is that I didn't even notice that something was wrong and I feel so bad for Ashton, how could he take advantage of his situation like that?"

Michael just sighed and shook his head.

"I can't believe this."

"Just say it already" I groaned.

"Say what?"

"That you were right about the whole thing - Luke isn't going to change even though it might seem like that."

Michael rolled his eyes. "Gabriella, you're just mad at him right now, you'll get over it eventually, just give him some time and let him explain stuff before you jump to conclusions."

I groaned and asked Michael if I could stay over night and he allowed me to, even though I would have to get up super early to get showered and dressed at my house before school the next morning.

At school, I tried to avoid Luke, I even ate lunch at the library and turned off my phone, which he kept calling and texting, every text and voice mail probably saying pretty much the same. I made it through the day without seeing Luke but he cought me after school.

"Just hear me out. Please" Luke begged and I crossed my arms in front of my chest, showing how uninterested I was in listening to his stories.

"Can we go somewhere?" Luke asked and I nodded so we left shool and walked towards the small park right down the street in silence.

"I'm really sorry, Bella."

"That's it? You're sorry and it's fixed?!" I snapped.

"I know that I ruined everything" Luke spoke up loudly and I flinched.

"Yea, you did and I can't even stand to look at you anymore, how dare you tell Ashton such shit when he's in such a bad position and you didn't even act different around me, you're such a good actor Luke."

Luke's eyes filled with sadness and anger and I just spat out:"Or maybe it wasn't even acting, you probably just didn't give a shit and now that you've slept with me you probably would have dumped me soon anyways."

I stood up and so did Luke, who was really mad now but he still wanted to keep me from leaving but I shook off his hand that he placed on my arm and stormed off.

"You're creating such a drama out of this" Michael sighed and tugged at his black hair.

"Luke really hurt me" I said angrily, why didn't Michael understand my point?

"Bella, you totally overacted, you shouldn't have shouted at him. You could have given him the chance to explain, goddamn."

I looked at Michael in disbelief, he really expected me to just forgive Luke like that and I wasn't going to do that and I also didn't want to keep arguing with Michael so I left and went home.

It was evening when I realized that Michael was actually right and I did overreact when I didn't even let Luke explain why he'd tell Ashton lies.

"You were right" I texted Michael, who didn't seem to be mad at me, as the great friend he was all he did was text me:"I'll pick you up in 10 and drive you over to his house."

I was more than thankful for Michael's offer so i got ready quickly and waited for my best friend in the chilly evening air.

Michael picked me up punctual and the ride to Luke's was full of silence as I was trying to figure out how to approach Luke and Michael probably didn't want to bother me, he just turned on some music halfway through the drive but that was alright since Mayday Parade helped me think.

I stood in front of Luke's door, hesitating for a second before ringing the door bell.

Luke's mom opened the door and looked at me with that annoyed yet empty expression she always had on her face.

"Is Luke home?" I asked and she shook her head.

"Probably drugging his brain away somewhere" she said carelessly and I suddenly got mad at her.

"How do you dare talking about your own son like that?"

"It's the truth, I feel really sorry for you, Gabriella, I think you deserve someone better."

I didn't want things to escalate so I turned around and left as fast as possible.

Michael and I drove around for a while and came up with a few places Luke could be but he wasn't at any of them, so Michael brought me home and promised to drive me up to Luke's again the next day.

Michael drove me to Luke directly after school, which he didn't attend that day and I was let in by Luke's brother, who told me that Luke was upstairs, so I went there to find Luke sitting on his bed in nothing but pyjama bottoms.

"Hey" I said and Luke looked up at me, he looked quite miserable but his eyes lit up a little immediately when he saw me.

"Hi" he said and I crossed my arms in front of my chest.

"Explain" Luke raised one eyebrow. "Ash" I hinted and Luke sighed.

"I was afraid of loosing you so I took advantage of Ash's memory loss which was stupid"

I nodded and Luke continued:"I'm sure Ashton used to have a crush on you though."

Luke laughed bitterly and I said:"I'd never not be honest with you though and I'd choose you over Ashton anytime. I love you, Luke."

"I'm sorry" Luke sighed and I walked over to his bed, just to see that he was holding small colorful pills in his hand.

"Anti-Depressants" Luke said and I shook my head slowly.

I knew how Anti-Depressants looked, but I also knew how drug tablets looked and I was sure to be looking at some that moment.

A/N: It's currently about 6am and I haven't slept yet so I kinda just decided to update my story - seems legit or?

Btw, I've started writing a new fanfic which will be a trilogy and it's gonna be about soldier luke, calum & ashton and the first part is a lashton fanfic and i'm sooooo excited for that story because in my opinion there are some pretty cool plot twists in there! :)
