True enough, within 10 minutes of walking, loud music could be heard.

'Are they not worried that they might cause an avalanche?' I thought to myself.

We entered the house, to the smell of stale beer.

"I am gonna grab us a drink. Stay here." Reid yelled over the loud music.

I just nodded in return. After a bit, a guy approached me, slurring his words, his pupils were dilated. He must be on something more than just alcohol.

"Heeeyy prettaaay layydeeee… whaaat are youuu doing heeere aaaaall alllooneee?"

I decided to ignore him. This somehow made him upset.

"Hey laydeeeee.. I am talking to you."

Silence. He was legit angry now. He grabbed my wrist roughly and pulled me closer to him. His breath stank of alcohol.

"You are going to be sorry for not answering me!" he threatened.

I easily got away from his grip which he responded negatively.  I saw that he had his clenched fist coming towards me. I dodged it and kneed him in his gut instead.  While he was bent down in pain, I elbowed his back bringing him down to his knees. I grabbed his head by the hair and hissed at him,

"You touch me one more time, and I will not hesitate to hurt you. Take that as a warning."

Amongst the crowd that had gathered around us to witness the kerfuffle was Reid with a red cup in each hand.

"You can pick up your jaw from the floor now Reid," I said to him when I got to him.

He immediately closed his mouth.

"Wow, I have never seen a girl beat up a guy before."

"Oh that, that was nothing. You wouldn’t want to get on my bad side," I giggled as I took another sip from the cup.

"Don’t worry about that. Will make sure I won't," he answered. "Come on, let's go outside. I have a feeling that once that guy comes to, he won't be too happy. Plus, we are the party crashers, so let's not linger for too long. Are you okay with that or you would want to stay and beat up a few more guys?"

I laughed, "I was ready to leave even before we got here."

Both Reid and I left the party clutching on to a few cups of punch which I am fairly certain were  spiked.

"This is stealing," I said to Reid.

"No it isn’t, the people back there were already wasted off their faces. We are performing community service here, we are making sure they don’t die from alcohol poisoning," he justified.

We went back to our private slope, downed a few cups along the way. We arrived at his cabin and he fumbled with his keys to open the door. We both stumbled in and he turned on the heater while he went out to the back. I sat down on the couch. It was a similar cabin like the one Luke and I are staying in. He came back with a few logs and he threw them into the fireplace and started a fire. Soon enough, the whole cabin was all warm and he turned off the electric heater. He sat next to me and we started talking about each other's lives and how much we wished that we didn’t have to be attending board meetings but at the same time acknowledge the fact that without those meetings, we won't be able to live life like we do. He is only 21 years old and already was made head of acquisition for Kauffmann Holdings and had a bachelor's in business management from Harvard.

It was almost 1 am.

"Do you want me to walk you back to your cabin?" he asked as he finished a yawn.
