My first day at school wasn't bad at all. Chaengie toured me, she seems close with her homeroom teacher though, because I'm a dance major and had nothing to do with them but she convinced her into taking me around the school.
A week had already past and here I am walking with Chaeng to the entrance of the campus.
"Hey, Minaring~ would you like to watch our presentations?" she suddenly asked me as we were entering the gate.
"Presentations? Already?" I asked her, quite surprised. I mean, it's just the second week of the second semester.
"It's not yet this week, pabo. The presentations would be a week from now as far as I remember." She must've noticed my surprised look because she playfully pushed me as she held back her laughter.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I just thought that the professors from your department are so hyped they can't help but feel excited to make your life hell." I can't help but roll my eyes while making a sarcastic remark. It's fun being with your bestest friend haha.
We took our IDs and swiped it on that machine whatever you call that. Chaeng said that that is for the parents so that they would know whether their child really goes to school. Pretty cool though.
Chaeng and I were about to part ways when we heard loud laughs along the corridor. They got our attention because it's still early and not that many students are here yet. We both looked in the direction of the laughter and my eyes got wide as I saw him. This is the first time I actually saw him here in school. Yes, I was referring to him, Choi Youngjae.
I was surprised when Chaeng laughed suddenly, "Oh, that's Dahyunie! It's been so long since I last talked to her."
Oh, right, Chaeng must have known them, and she seems so close with the girl walking together with them. I just wonder which girl is she talking about. Actually, there were 4 of them, the one is him, Youngjae, the other guy is a little shorter than him and much more hyper than him obviously, one of the girls looks so much white. I mean her skin color, she looks so cute, and the other girl, her eyes looked big, it's very pretty. She seemed quiet too.
"Dahyun-ah!" I was cut in trance when Chaeng suddenly shouted and waved at them. The milky skinned girl turned to look at her a little surprised. So, I guess that's Dahyun, I wanted to be friends with her, she looks so fun to be with. Realization hit me later that they are coming near us! I'm not yet ready to meet him! A surge of panic surge through me as I hit Chaengie's shoulder a little bit stronger than what it's supposed to be.
"What now?!" She hissed looking at me then turned back to the group of students now coming near us.
"Ahm, Chaeng, I need to go now." I nervously told her then she looked at me a little puzzled.
"Why? Just wait here, I will introduce them to you. You know, new friends." She told me smiling happily. She's so cute when she's excited.
"Maybe next time Chaeng. I just remembered I needed to do something." I didn't wait for her to reply and ran as fast as I can to escape from them.
"He looks so much better when he's smiling," I told myself as I was imagining his sweet smile.
