It's been a week since Jihyo and I finished the project we're working on. Having her as a partner made it easier for us to finish everything.
It's not that much of a work though. At least that's what I think because Mr. Kim provided us with the lyrics already and all we have to do is put some tune and arrange the lyrics.
"Good Morning!" I was surprised when Mr. Kim suddenly arrived and greeted us. He wasn't this usually... happy?
"Good Morning Mr. Kim!" We said altogether.
"Maybe you were wondering why I'm here earlier than usual, looking... happy." He said as a matter of fact, then he continued, "I'm just in a very good mood after seeing your finished projects. You see, Choi Youngjae of your class and Park Jihyo, the junior student decided to be partners and that made my job easier."
I shifted uncomfortably in my seat as his gaze turn to me. Wait, don't tell me?
Before I could finish what I'm thinking, he said it.
"Mr. Choi, I'm assigning you and Ms. Park to be the last performers on your presentation next week. And Mr. Wang? You and your partner will do the opening performance." He said while casually scanning the list he's holding.
I was about to protest when he talked again.
"That's all for today. We're going to have a meeting about the presentation so those names I mentioned? I believe that you should start practicing now."
My classmates didn't even let Mr. Kim leave first before cheering out loud. Right, they must be so happy right now. Who wouldn't? They finished there project and all they have to do is watch the presentation. That's all! What about me? Oh wait and Jackson?
"Dude! Did you hear that?" Jackson energetically put his arms around my neck. He looks excited.
"Of course he did. He's not deaf you know?" Dahyun retorted sarcastically.
"Aww, it's okay Dahyun-ah~ don't be jealous." Jackson told Dahyun teasingly. Must be about the performance.
"Who says I am? I'm glad I didn't have to perform. I don't have anything to worry about." She said.
Dang! I sometimes wonder if Dahyun is somewhat related to my sister. They're both savage.
"Right! Why do I need to be the last performer?" I whined. I mean why?
"It doesn't need an explanation. It's because you're Youngjae and your partner is Jihyo. That's it." Dahyun told me as she plays with my hair.
You see, I'm used to singing by myself. I do perform at some events here in school but I'm not used to performing with someone. Well, unless if it's a band. Duh!
"Yah, you two, go look for your partners already and practice with them! I'm going to watch you guys." Again, Dahyun told us and clapped excitedly.
"Are you that excited to meet Bambam?" Jackson asked. Oh, do I sense a hint of jealousy?
"No. I don't even know him personally. What I want is to hear Jihyo and Youngjae sing. I'm not interested in you." She stuck her tongue out then quickly added, "kidding!"
"Yah!"
Before they even started to run around the room I quickly dragged Jackson by his collar.
