Chapter 9.1 (SPECIAL CHAPTER)

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

I was walking on my own today. Well if you're wondering why, it's just that Mina is currently with Sana and they were preparing for their performance. Same goes with the trio, I mean Jackson and Youngjae oppa and Dahyun. Well, as for Tzuyu, she's with Nayeon unnie I think? That unnie really adores her so much.

"Omo! Yah, Sonchae!" I halted my steps as I heard someone shouted. Sonchae? I shrugged then continue walking until someone suddenly grabbed me.

"Hey, Sonchae! I was calling you for a while now." I was startled when someone suddenly grabbed me. Well, not totally grabbed like harshly, more like to caught my attention.

"Um, and who are you ... exactly?" I asked this tall guy. Whoah, he's really tall.

"Whoa, are you serious? You've already forgotten me? It's been just, what? A year and a half? Almost? And you already don't know me?" He told me mocking hurt. To be honest? I feel like I know him but I can't really remember.

"Can't you just introduce yourself instead of beating around the bush? I'm a busy person you know?" I asked him while looking at my watch. I really need to get to the auditorium so that I can get a good place to seat.

"Wah, you've never change Chaengie. You're always hot headed when you're talking to me. It's me, your favorite frenemy, Yugyeom." He told me as his small mocking smile turned into a grin.

What the? How come? As far as I remember, the Yugyeom I've met in Japan is not even taller than me. Just how come his height is almost twice as mine? This is so unfair!

"Tsk, I don't know anyone named Yugyeom so if you'll excuse me." I turned my back at him as I continue walking on my own. I just wanted to tease him. Just like the old times.

"Yah, Sonchae! How dare you," he ran as fast as he could, well walked to be honest because with that long legs of his he can follow my pace easily, "are you still jealous because I've grown taller than you for a short period of time?"

"Nah, don't answer that. Why are you here?" He asked me.

"I should be the one asking you that. Why are you here? Like suddenly? Don't you have to attend your school?" I asked him continuously. Why? Because he's actually living in Japan, how come he came here in the middle of the school year.

"It's just that something came up and I wanted to unwind for a bit so yeah, I'm here. Besides, Mina told me that they'll have a performance something today so I decided to stop by." Ohh, I wonder what happened to him.

"Oh, right! I almost forgot. Tch! Come on, we need to be there early so that we can find a good seat." I walked faster ahead of him but he just walked normally and casually dropped his arms in my shoulder. I tried to shrug it off but he's just so stubborn.

"Ugh! Fine!" I yelled at him and some students suddenly looked at us while I hid my face out of embarrassment. Tch, while this guy beside me enjoys it so much.

As we neared the auditorium we can already hear loud cheers signaling that the program has already started.

"Yah, I told you to walk faster! See? It's already starting!" I blamed Yugyeom who was innocently munching his snack.

"What? I came from my flight and I'm hungry. I'm a big guy who also needs to eat." He said calmly as I nudged him making him choke. Serves you right.

We entered the auditorium and I'm glad that our president is just starting his opening speech when Dahyun texted me to go to the most front seat because they reserved some seats for us.

"Ohhh, Chaengie~ you haven't told me that you have a boyfriend!" Dahyun teased me as soon as she saw me came closer to them while still bickering with Yugyeom.

"Yah, Dahyunie, he's not my boyfriend. And you, Yugyeom can you please remove your arms from my shoulder?" I told them with a scowl in my face that clearly shows that I'm starting to be in a bad mood.

"Fine, fine. Sorry." Yugyeom said as he lift his arms like surrendering while I just glared at him.

"Ehem, Chaeyoung unnie, why don't you introduce your boyfriend to us so that he won't look like he's constipated or something." That's Tzuyu who was sitting silently but is now laughing at me.

"Tzuyu, not you too." I grunted. "Well, this is Kim Yugyeom, Mina's cousin and my friend. Yugyeom this is Tzuyu and that girl is Dahyun."

They just smiled at each other and talked for a while before the MC announced that the first performers are already going to sing. All of the girls, well, almost, tried to contain their squeals but decided they can't. Wow, I've never seen these guys act so cool like this. Well, Jackson oppa seems always cool but he's dorky, while Bambam is, to be honest I really don't know him so yeah.

YUGYEOM'S POV

I looked at the students and some of the teachers who were jamming along those 2 guys on the stage. To be honest? They are great, with the way they carry themselves and their stage presence. I can't help myself but to jam with them.

I looked at the small girl beside me as she smiles widely while singing with the. Tch. Why does she seems like she's enjoying this so much.

I was cut in trance when I heard the howls and cheers of the crowd.

"Whoa, Jackson oppa and Bambam are so cool!" I heard Chaeyoung said as her smile grew wider and decided to cheer with the crowd.

"Tch, I'm much cooler than them though." I told her and she just looked at me still smiling.

I looked away immediately and calmed my heart as that image of her smile still lingers in my mind.
