Chapter 18.1

The guys, especially the trio, Jackson, Dahyun and Youngjae, were more than glad when they have some renovation thing to do in the building both juniors and seniors were using. It just means that they won't have classes for the remaining days of the week. And since it just Thursday, they still have 4 days to have a rest.

They are now gathered and loading their things into the car they are going to use. Of course, Jackson, being the rich and generous friend that he is, asked his brother if they could use their van on which his brother agreed.

Jackson is the one driving with Youngjae beside him, Mina and Chaeyoung taking the seat in the middle while Dahyun was at the back with their bags. She volunteered though, because she said that she still needs more sleep even though it's already 5:00 AM which is still early that's why they can't blame her.

"Jackson-ah, wait a minute. I'll just give a call to someone." Youngjae said before stepping out of the car.

"Yaaah~!" Youngjae couldn't help but giggle at the reaction he got. Well, who wouldn't whine when someone called you this early?

"Hello? Nayeon noona? Did I wake you up?" He asked even though the answer is obvious.

"What do you think? Yah, this better be something worth my sleep, this kid." Nayeon answered back, irritation still evident in her voice.

Youngjae just laughed at her, "Yes. Noona, you know that we won't have classes for the rest of the week, right?" Nayeon just hummed signaling that she knows it.

"And you also know that I recently had fever and colds, right?" He continued.

"So?" Nayeon answered back not wanting to sound uninterested but she's really sleepy.

"So, it just happened that I've passed my fever and cold to Jinyoung hyung." He said slowly because he doesn't want to feel the wrath of Nayeon early in the morning.

"Yah!" Nayeon shouted but then remembered something. "You can just call auntie (Jinyoung's mom) or-" she was cut off by Youngjae.

"Nah, he told me that his mom would probably just scold him and over react. He didn't ask me to call you, I just did."

"Fine, fine." Nayeon sighed as she answered.

"You don't need to go there immediately, I left him some food to eat when he wakes up. It's not like he's gonna die but he looks like he's dying." Youngjae shrugged as if Nayeon could see her.

"I also cooked something for lunch, you can just reheat the food. I'm thinking that you have the knowledge to use the microwave, right?" He continued before hearing a series of grunt and complains on the other side.

"Yah, it's not like I'm gonna burn Jinyoung's unit down." Nayeon answered back before pouting. Youngjae can't see it but he can definitely feel that the older girl was sulking.

"I'm just kidding noona." He said before chuckling.

"Youngjae oppa? Um, Jackson o-oppa sent m-me here t-to ask you if y-you aren't done yet." He jumped from his shocked when he heard a soft voice talking beside him. He looked and smiled when he saw Mina.

"Yah, why do you sound so formal? And uncomfortable?" He asked and chuckled before ruffling the Mina's hair causing the latter to blush furiously.

"Noona, I'm going now. You know how Jackson can be impatient," he said then grabbed Mina's hand when she was about to leave.

"You know the passcode's still your birthday and please I know you guys have been together for years but please, no funny business. Control your hormones! And don't burn the unit! Bye." He continued and laughed a little with his own statement.

"Yah! What are you talking about? And yes, I won't burn the unit! But I'll make sure to haunt you down when you return! Bye, take care." She then hanged up and Youngjae looked at Mina who was still wide eyed from what he did.

"Let's go together. I didn't know you were impatient." He said just to tease the girl and dragged her to the van.

The place where the car was parked is not that far but Youngjae made sure that he was holding Mina's hand. He was aware of the stare that the girl was giving her and their hands but he doesn't care. He likes holding her hand.

He just let go of Mina's hand when they were already in front of the car and Youngjae saw Jackson's face. Mina went in first and she was clutching her chest when she took the seat earning and weirded look from Chaeyoung.

As soon as Youngjae entered, a tissue paper was thrown at him.

"Yah, do you need to say goodbye to your girls? Like how many girlfriends do you have that it took you that long?" Jackson teased and Youngjae just glared at him before looking at Mina who was still flustered at what happened a while ago.

Jackson was just teasing his best friend because he happened to see what he did a while ago. Youngjae seemed to forget that even though the car is tinted, the person inside can still clearly see them.

"It's not even that long! And besides I don't have a girlfriend you, clod!" Youngjae answered back before punching Jackson on his arms.

They were just stopped from bickering when Dahyun threw something that hit them in the head. It's not even a piece of tissue. It's a whole roll of tissue paper. Why do they have that many tissues? Youngjae thought as he picked up the two rolls that were thrown and asked Mina to give it back to Dahyun.

Jackson started the engine and Youngjae put on his seat belt. He then looked at Mina and found the latter already looking at him. He just gave her a small smile and faced front holding his chest feeling something warm building.
