Chapter 11

CHAEYOUNG'S POV

I'm currently with Mina here in the cafeteria. It's been a while that it's just the two of us. Well, you know, Jackson and Youngjae oppa and Dahyun unnie are kind of busy right now because school year's almost done. Gosh! I'm going to miss those trio.

"- right?! Hey! Are you even listening?" I was cut in trance as I heard, for the first time in a while, my bestfriend's outburst.

"I'm sorry. It's just that I'm thinking how our senior life would be. I mean, it would just be the two of us, right? There would be no energetic Jackson, sarcastic Dahyun and your ever crush Youngjae." She blushed just the mere mention of Youngjae oppa's name.

"R-r-right. But hey! Do you need to like mention that he's my crush every single time we're talking about them?" I just shrugged at her and took a sip of my soda.

"You've got a lot of things to tell me Myoui. I'm staying silent because I know you're not yet that comfortable talking about this with Dahyun but why are you suddenly so close with Youngjae?" I asked her. I've been really curious though. After the school event, it's like the two of them are different people. I've never seen Youngjae oppa playful like that. He's always acting mature. Like he's the brother of the group. And as for Mina, I know she had her little crush on him but these days, she's blushing every freaking time he talked to her.

"I don't know either," she shrugged, "it's like all of a sudden. I feel so dreamy. He keeps on teasing me but it's fine with me."

Our little chitchat was interrupted when the school bell rang indicating that our lunch time is over.

"What are you talking a while ago?" I asked her suddenly remembering that she was ranting about something to me before.

"Ah! Just when I was about to forget about it. It's just that Ms. Park is giving her students a hard time. Can you imagine? She's asking us to film a music video of us singing! We were like, hey we're dance majors, what's that got to do with us?" She rumbled. Aww, our Minaring is really cute when she's annoyed.

"Wow! That was the longest I've heard you talk Pretty Myoui." I bit back a surprised squeal when out of nowhere Youngjae oppa appeared.

I saw Mina turned red as an apple at the mention of her surname. Wait what?

"Pretty Myoui?" I suddenly asked.

"Yes, that's her." Youngjae oppa pointed at her then looked at me.

I slowly nodded my head still weirded by their set up but then I realized that this is my chance to help Mina improve her relationship with him

"Oh, Youngjae oppa, you don't mind me leaving her to you, right?" I asked him.

"Oh, yeah. I don't have my next classes anyways." I smirked at Mina when I saw her glare at me.

"Thanks oppa, bye Mina!" I then ran as fast as I can because I can feel Mina's intent stare as if she's going to kill me.

Oh my best friend. Someday you'll gonna thank me for this. I grinned at myself.

MINA'S POV

Remind me not to strangle Chaeyoung later when we go home. Doesn't she know that I'm trying to avoid this guy because I feel like what I feel for him is not a simple crush anymore!

"So pretty girl," he started the conversation but I glared at him. He's now getting used to this, he just keep on switching from pretty girl, pretty myoui or any names he can call me with the adjective pretty!

"I'm just teasing you," he then pouted. That's illegal! "anyways, I heard your little rant a while ago, do you want my help?" He asked me.

"I uh," I can't answer him. He's like the guy with the greatest voice in his batch and he's asking if I want his help. Of course I do but I feel shy at the same time. I'm not really a singer you know.

"A-are..."

"Hey Mina! Ms. Park said that she's not attending the class today." I didn't even realize that we were already in front of my room until one of my classmates talked to me. I looked behind me as I heard some squeals then I realized that I'm with Youngjae.

"Thank you for informing me." I smiled at my classmates as I turned and pull Youngjae away from the crowd that is starting to form.

"You're quite famous huh." I told him as I blushed realizing that I held his hand.

"Don't say that!" He let out a little groan which I found cute.

"Anyways, since you don't have classes like me let's talk about your project." I looked at him puzzled.

"What? I'm helping you since I have nothing to do." He shrugged.

"Aren't you busy? Like t-the graduation is almost there. Aren't you preparing to go to college?" I asked him suddenly saddened at the thought that they were already graduating.

"Not really, I just wanted to enjoy first! I still have a plenty of time to do that." He said then turned to me and smiled as I quickly looked away.

I looked at him in awe as we- he actually, explained to me the way he pictures the music video will be as when I told him the song I was going to sing.

"Wow, so you're saying to me that you haven't really let someone hear you sing?" He asked me baffled.

"Y-yeah?" I answered him uncertain of the reaction I got from him.

"I'm honored then! Like wow! I bet your voice will sound like an angel because you look like one." He told me then I quickly hid my face in my long hair so that he won't notice my face flushing so hard right now! I really do think that I'm falling for him. Dang this sweet talker!
