Ch 5: Somebody New

Aria's POV

I decided to take Jalia out to eat since she came with me to tha video shoot tha other day , plus it was a success. I can't wait to see tha ending results. We ending up going to The Cheesecake Factory my favorite restaurant. We took our seats in tha booth & the waiter took down our drinks.

"So, how are you, ya know from tha kickback.?" we haven't really talked about it. I know she is holding A LOT in ,ya know like tha pain.

"um I'm good ,wonderful" she lied

I hate wen she does that. "Really Lia , come on be honest."

"I'm hurt, if I could change it then I would. The way I came at him , I feel like I'm in tha wrong." she said

"naw don't even feel like that, it's not ya fault. He's tha one that started everything," I had a feeling that Keshia would turn Que against Lia.

The waiter came back with our drinks and took our order,then left.

"when are u gonna tell him.?" I asked her.

"tell him what?" she said lookin all confused

"ya know that ur in l-"

"hol up ima cut ya off right there. I'm not in love with him." she said all mad.

"really it's so obvious to me. Tha way u look at him, well use to. You'll get all jealous wen he had a new girl , tha way u care about him. Jalia it's so fuckin obvious.!"

"it's called being friends , I'm like that with you. " she said takin a sip of her strawberry lemonade.

"nawl, it's different , am I tha only one that sees it. Ima just give u ur time til u confess & ima be right ther sayin I told u so. " I said laughin at tha end.

"changing subjects, are u & Mr. August Alsina gonna get togetha?" she asked

damn his name just bringing back every thing that happen tha otha day. Tha way his eyes was lookin into mines, tha way his cologne smelled wen he walked by, tha way he licked his lips , ohh lawwd I'm gettin excited just thinking about it.

"I mean he's a nice guy, well at the shoot he was. what if he ask me out, I'll be hella excited." I'm gettin hot just thinking about it. I said laughing

"well somebody panties are gettin wet." Jalia said laughing.

"yo ass got jokes huh, wat about u & mr. Nae Nae" I said referring to tha dude from tha kickback.

"wait he iss one of tha creators of tha dance , I ain't pay attention to his face." she said

"well wat y'all gonna be.?" I'm just so curious.

"well he texted me good morning tha day of tha shoot .that was it." she began to check ha phone.

"somebody is worrying i see." I joked

"I just need somebody new , who gon be der fo me, ya know?" she told & asked me.

"ya I'm hip, because that lil situation with Bobby, ya know wat I'm not even gonna get on dat. Toast to somebody new." I held my glass Sprite up & she held up her lemonade & our glasses clinked together.

Keshia's POV

today is last day I'm in Decatur, but best believe I'll be here every weekend to spend time with my baby. I meet Que at his house so we can chill before I go back to school. It's been awhile since we hung out , he always with his friends or in tha studio. I walk down tha steps into his room. I love tha vibe that I get when I'm down here.
