"Baby I'm going to the store."

"Okay I love you drive safe."

"I love you too I will."

I kissed my husband and son then left.

I got to the grocery store and walked inside. I went straight to the frozen section.

I heard a gunshot and ducked.

I stood up and looked around. I saw a woman following some guy with the gun. I ducked when she shot him while he was passing me.

I closed my eyes and bit my lip.

I opened them and saw she had pointed the gun towards everyone else.

"Everybody get down!"

Everyone got down. Tears welled my eyes.

I saw my mother in law.

"Mommy!"

She looked at me, she was with her boo.

"Oh my god!"

She came over to me. She held onto me.

"Are you okay?"

I nodded.

"Are you?"

She nodded.

"You!"

I looked at the lady. She pointed the gun to me.

"No talking!"

I bit my lip and looked at momma.

She held onto me tightly.

I heard sirens and everything outside.

I tried to look and couldn't really see anything. I think I saw Kalin outside though.

"Kalin?"

Momma looked.

She screamed when the gun went off. I gasped when I realized she shot me.

"I said quiet!"

"Oh my god!"

She started crying. I looked down. She shot my stomach.

Someone threw something at her knocking her out.

Momma put towels and pressure on my wound.

I looked at her.

I've never seen anyone cry so hard before.

The police and ambulance soon came in and got me on a gurney.

They took me out with momma right by my side.

"Babe!"

Kalin came running over without our son.

"Baby oh my god."

I looked at him. He looked scared and laced our fingers.

"You'll be okay honey."

Tears were coming out of my eyes.

"Momma what happened?"

"She said your name and the lady shot her for not being quiet."

I looked at him and put a hand on his cheek.

They got me in the ambulance. He stayed by my side the entire time.

He put a hand on my cheek.

"I'm right here baby."

He had tears streaming down his face also.
