Chapter 4

I followed Jake to the long, wide, indoor arena where we mounted our horses, I walked up next to his horse, which was the same height as Jedi.

"Nice horse" he smiled and looked at me

"Yours too" I smiled and we began walking, our two horses walked right beside each other which I could tell Jedi hated but I was glad he was nice about it.

"So, I heard you won Champion" I nodded and looked over at him

"Well, because of my win I left my friends back home in New Jersey."

He looked at me "Well I would watch for some people, they can be really rude" he looked at me "but you don't seem like a rude girl, we will have fun with the rest of our team" I smiled and nodded. We both asked our horses to trot now, Jedi was more than happy, he was my speedy Gonzalos. But his horse kept up, when we entered the forest everything changed, the trees were creepy, dead almost, and there was no longer any sun, Jedi was fine, but I was freezing cold I didn't know if it was me or if it had really changed, then all of the sudden, everything went black.

When I woke up, I was on a couch in the barn, I could tell because the way I was laying, I heard two very familiar voices speaking to each other. The first thing that came to my mind is what I said,

"Is Jedi ok?" I looked up at the two noticing it was Josh, and Jake.

"He's great, I put him up after putting you in here." I smiled in thanks, my head pounded.

"How are you feeling?" Josh came over and picked me up, he was in uniform, he was home now, and he never had to go back.

"I feel fine!" I wrapped my arms around him and he whispered in my ear.

"Don't tell mom and dad but I came to see you before them!" I laughed, which killed my head.

"I must go tho, little Angel"

"Ok ill see you some other time"

Good bye"

"Bye"

Then he set me down and left to visit our parents. After a few minutes of rubbing my head, Jake re-entered the room.

"You don't look fine" he looked at me

"I feel like crap"

"Want to head back to the dorm?" He smiled, he had little dimples that were soo cute.

"I'm gonna give Jedi a treat first." He raised his eyebrows.

"I'm a step ahead of you," he chuckled

I rolled my eyes, which hurt, like a lot and I stood up, which felt like I haven't walked in forever but I got my balance and I walked fine.
