Chapter 20

I walked to the barn lounge, Aaron following, and I grabbed a water. He twirled me around and kissed me again. I pulled away instantly.

"I can't"

"Please?" He looked at me and I put my hand up blocking his face.

"I'm dating Luke and that's it" he sighed and nodded,

"I wish you didn't" I sighed and walked out taking a sip of my water as I checked the locks on Jedi, and Eclipses stall doors.

We started walking back to the dorm.

"Maybe I should go back to my dorm."

"Wait, no Angel I just" I ignored him.

"I'm switching tonight."

We walked the rest of the way in silence. The only reason why I kissed Aaron back was because he had his arms around me. It would be awkward now, but he promised not to speak about it.

When we arrived I burst through the door and started packing.

"Angel, what's wrong? What took so long?" Luke gently touched my cheek

"Nothing's wrong" I smiled and looked at him,

"I think I should go back to my dorm so I can get ready for my show easier."

He nodded,

"That actually sounds smart" he started helping me pack up.

Once we were done packing he, and Devin helped me carry stuff back to my dorm. When it was all there Devin left to go home, so it was just me and Luke. We intertwined out fingers as he kissed me. I smiled and closed my eyes noticing his were closed. I kissed him back, as he and I pulled away at the same.

"Ill be ok" I smiled as he smiled as well.

"Ok" he touched my cheek gently before he left.

An hour passed as I unpacked everything and sat on my bed. A knock came from the door, and I opened it, Aaron kissed me as he shut the door behind him. I pushed him away,

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing" he smirked as I shook my head and walked to the bathroom, taking off my makeup. Another knock came but I figured it was Luke,

"Hello" I said from the bathroom,

"Hey" it was Devin.

I finished taking off my makeup, and walked in the room as I laid on my bed and shook my head.

"What are you guys doing here?" I looked at them both

"About Luke" Devin started to speak as Aaron continued

"He isn't himself" I immediately got up and slammed the door behind me.

"This is bullshit" I said as I stormed down the hall towards the door. I heard foot steps behind me. I left and slammed the door behind me twirling and looking at who it was, Devin, I smiled and continued walking. I arrived at Luke's dorm and knocked. He opened it and collapsed in my arms. I screamed and laid his head on my arm as I laid his body down. Davin came running up.

"Pick him up" I ordered at hi, and he did, he picked him up and laid him on the bed. I put my hand to his forehead,

"He has a fever, get a cloth and get it wet with cold water" I propped his head up on pillows as I took all the covers off his bed before Devin returned.

"Here" he said handing me the cloth

"Thanks" I mumbled and placed it on Luke's forehead.

"Ill be back" I walked outside and sat in the grass as I punched the ground and put my face in my hands before standing up and pulling out my phone, I dialed 911 and my aunt answered,

"911 what's your emergency"

"Aunt Cleopatra" I said calmly

"Yes my dear"

"Is there any way you could send a Doctor out here, but without an ambulance?"

"Of course! One will be out shortly" she hung up.

I sighed and sat on the ground as I saw Aaron walk up. I stood pack up,

"Why didn't he tell me!!" I hollered as I raised my hand to punch him. He gently held my fist and put it down as I held back tears.

"He didn't want you to know.."

"You should have told me" I looked away

"I wanted to"he said softly as I shook my head and walked back in as I saw Luke awake.

I handed him my bottle of water with some medication for the fever.

"Here" I smiled and looked at him. He nodded and took it. I sat beside him as I ran my fingers through his hair.

"I love you" I said softly

"I love you more" he coughed and laid his head on my stomach. I shook my head and looked at him. My eyes were glassy as I shut them falling asleep at 4 in the morning. I woke up abruptly at 6 am to a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Devin.

"Here" he said handing me a donut with a bottle of water.

"Good morning to you too" I smiled taking the two items

"Thanks" I added shortly after.

I yawned and sat up as I took a drink of my water before tearing off and eating part of my donut.

"Aaron and I are gonna go out, ok?" I nodded as they left. Sitting there was miserable it was so quiet.

"Angel" Luke sat up.

"Yes?" I looked at him as he took my hands

"I need to tell you something very important" he looked up at me as tears formed in his eyes. But why?
