End of Book 1

Chapter 27

They finally called for the Award Ceremony. Me and Jedi cantered to the award ring where all of the horses stood,

"In the jumping class in third place we have Matt Graticla" the announcer said as Matt trotted into the ring.

"In second place we have Luke Webron" I rolled my eyes as Luke trotted into the ring. There was a long pause for first place.

"And Finally in First Place, an amazing rider who was riding,

Fight This Warrior, is Angelica Vanatello, with the highest score, equaling 100!!" My eyes widened as I cued Jedi into a canter as we cantered into the ring. I was wearing my vest but I didn't care! They slipped the blue ribbon on Jedi's bridle as they draped a medal around my neck.

We all exited and I mounted Eclipse handing Jedi to Liam as I put the medal around Liam's neck as well. I sat on Eclipse's back waiting for the awards.

They finally began calling,

"In third place we have Lexi Holdon" Lexi was good but, sucked as well, she trotted into the ring on her palomino pony named Buck.

"Placing in second, we have Veronica Swivvy" she was my best friend at my old school she would be proud when they called me, for first.

"And our winner of today's dressage division" the lady paused "riding upon The Moons Eclipse, is Angelica Vanatello, getting first place" I cantered in and stood beside Veronica where we high fived and then fist bumped

"We must catch up girl" she laughed

"After Cross Country results" she nodded

"Ill see you after that"

We all exited and I got back on Jedi.

I put my second medal around Liam's neck and handed him Jedi's blue ribbon for show jumping.

"Third place for the Cross Country division is Victoria Stormlock" Victoria rode in acting all special, but she got third, she sucks

"Second place goes to Luke Webron" I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"The overall winner of the Cross Country division, riding upon,

Fight This Warrior, is Angelica Vanatello" I cantered into the arena where they pinned my third blue ribbon to Jedi's bridle and slipped my third medal over my neck. We exited again and I stood with Liam handing him the medal and ribbon.

"Now we have overall winners" I sighed

"You got first" he flashed a smile up to me which made me relax. Until I heard the Announcer.

"Riders we are about to say our three overall winners, with third place, reserved champion, and Champion" when the announcer said champion everyone looked at me which cause me to shrink in my saddle.

"The winner of third place goes to Mathew Hues" the lady smiled as Mathew cantered in on Lady's pride, god I missed that son of a bitch. He's like my brother.

"Overall winner of Reserved Champion goes to Luke Webron" Luke cantered in an stood away from Mathew

"And our Champiom of Today's amazing show goes to Angelica Vanatello!" The lady clapped along with everyone else as I cantered in and stood next to Mathew and we fist bumped,

"Good Job Angie" I laughed and smiled

"You too Matty"

"Me, you, and Veronica are hanging out tonight, sound cool?" He smiled at me

"Sure does!" I smiled back as they slipped flowers over Jedi's neck and handed me a huge trophy which I asked the lady to hold while we did victory lap and she accepted holding the trophy.

"And now for Victory lap lead by Miss Angelica" I cued Jedi into a canter as he burst into a canter and I got into two point and held on with one hand.

It wasn't until then that Jedi chose to spook. He did and I continued riding him. All he did was side step but oh well, I finished victory lap and took my trophy handing it to Liam as we walked back to the barn.

We untacked Jedi and Eclipse.

I met with Mathew and Veronica and we talked for like 5 hours.

~5 hours later~

I went back to my room and slept the night away, waking up at 10. I left and helped load everything into the trailer, gave the horses their hay and loaded them. We had everything so I hopped into the truck, our suitcases were loaded in the locked bed of the truck. The horses were locked in and we were on our way home. Which took forever but, you do only die once.

~ 3 hours later ~

Everything was unpacked, cleaned, organized and cuddly. Liam and I went back to our dorm and slept the day away. In our own bed of course. We totally didn't like each other... Ok he was cute. I had to admit it. But, how could he like me, psh, all the boys did, I would get a text every second, so when I slept my phone was silenced, haaah I'm not popular, not one bit.
