Chapter 5 ~ The moon the cow jumped over

Oliver was back in the Lunar kingdom to catch up on his royal duties, he did spend a month with Saint and two months drowning in his sadness after all.

Saint was kind of disappointed that Oliver had to leave her again but she understood that he had a kingdom to take care of too.

"Don't leave me," Saint held onto Oliver tighter.

Oliver glanced at the sky and chuckled, "Sunshine, I'll be back soon okay? You know you can always drop by the Lunar castle and help me do my royal duties if you're free,".

Saint was just afraid that something would happen to him again, she wanted to protect him.

Saint didn't know what she and Oliver was. She thinks that they are dating but she isn't sure.

There was a knock on the door, "Child, you may be the King of this empire but that doesn't mean I'm lower than you,".

Saint laughed, "Mother, take a seat,".

Saint's mother looked at her fondly, "I'm so proud of you,".

"To be honest, I'm happy that I'm not the queen anymore. I had so much stress and right now I feel like all that weight has been lifted and I feel like I'm ten years younger," Saint's mother overjoyed.

"Gee, thanks mom," Saint shot her mother a fake smile.

Saint's mother knew her daughter was kidding but she kind of felt sorry for her. Saint had just turned eighteen and she was immediately given an important and difficult position.

She knew Saint could handle it but it was that motherly instinct that kept on telling her to protect her only daughter from the world beyond the walls of the kingdom.

"This is wrong, why would you give your child the position of a prince when she's obviously a princess. You have a daughter not a son!" The queen of snow argued with the Solar family.

The queen of the Solar kingdom held her ground, "Gender roles don't matter. A boy can be a princess and a girl can be a prince,".

The queen of snow stared at her in disgust, "I refuse to support your kingdom, I must insist that we cut ties,".

And so they did, but it caused so many people from the snow kingdom to die. Without the sun, their kingdom just kept on getting colder and colder. Their supply for food was decreasing due to the bad weather. It was too cold to grow crops. People were starving and freezing to death.

The snow queen tried to find other solutions but it still lead to the Solar kingdom.

"I apologise for my behaviour that day," The ice queen, along with her men, were on the floor bowing to the Solar king, "Please help us, my people are dying. My kingdom is so cold, the crops won't grow,".

The ice queen cried as she bowed in defeat.

The king stood up and looked at her, "I accept your apology but that doesn't mean I'll forget what you did that caused your people to die,".

In less than a week, the snow kingdom was back at its normal temperature. The snow queen had actually grown quite fond of the sun prince.

The young prince was running around in her garden and squealed whenever a snowflake landed on her nose.

"Saint Solar, come back inside. It's getting colder," The snow queen smiled at her.

Saint ran back and hugged the queen, "Can we get hot chocolate?".

The queen laughed and nodded.

Saint's mother was still friends with the snow queen after all those years.

Marianne Du Froid was the name of the snow queen. In her kingdom she was called The Queen Of Ice or The Snow Queen. Her late husband, the Ice King, used to call her Mari.

"Sana are you in here?" Saint's father knocked on her door.

He was looking for his wife so he could take her out on a date that he planned many months ago.

"Come in, Louka" Saint's mother replied.

Sana Carmen Célestine and Tao Louka  Florence were the real names of the used-to-be king and queen.

Ever since Saint's coronation, they've told everyone to address them by their real names so they could feel like normal people.

Saint's father came in with a bouquet of white and red roses.

"Let's go on a date," Louka smiled sheepishly at his wife.

Sana blushed profusely, she didn't expect to be asked on a date that day.

"Okay," she sniffed the flowers and intertwined her fingers with her husband's.

"We'll see you later Trona," Louka smiled at his daughter.

"That was so goals. When will Oliver do that," Saint laughed at herself then realised what she said, "Well, damn. I'm shook,".

Oliver I'm bored, I miss you a lot.

Awww, i miss you too baby. I just finished my Lunar Eclipse traning so do you want to skype?

Yes please :)

Saint received a skype call on her laptop and she immediately picked up.

"Oppa!" Saint grinned largely.

"Oh my Apollo, No don't call me that," Oliver face palmed.

"Aww, okay," Saint was joking about it anyways. She didn't even know what 'oppa' was, she just heard it from a show that her servant was watching.

"I missed you," Oliver smiled at her, "I almost got hit in the face during training because I kept on thinking about your cute face and how much I want to squish it,".

Saint rolled her eyes playfully, "Pay attention during training, I don't you to get hurt,".

Oliver laughed and shook his head.

"I'm free next week, so can I come and visit my sunshine?" He asked.

Saint nodded, "We can cuddle all night," Saint said innocently.

"Or we can," Oliver winked at her and smirked.

"You, sir, need some Apollo water. A lot of Apollo water," Saint said nervously.

"I'm kidding, sunshine. Let's watch movies and cuddle," Oliver smiled at her.
