She walks through white and gold encrusted walls.
A crown delicately placed on her head.
She has a position that a female isn't usually associated with.
She's a royal with a twist.
Saint was sitting on her throne, her leg was thrown over the arm of the chair as she texted her boyfriend. Saint was wearing black skinny jeans, a black shirt and her bomber jacket. Of course, she was wearing her crown but the rest of her outfit didn't make her look like a royal. More specifically, a king. She looked more like a social media influencer.
Saint's servant passed her that note and it was from the Crystal Kingdom, they were inviting Saint for a friendly duel. Saint crushed the note and stood up, "Prepare the car, I'm going to the Crystal Kingdom,".
Saint exited the main doors and walked to the car. The car had the two small Solar flags on the front and at the back of the car, the licence plate said "SOLAR". It was a white rolls royce and Saint loved this car to shreds.
Her driver bowed before opening the car door for her, "Your highness,". Saint smiled and went in. She took out her phone and texted Oliver.
Saint: I've been summoned to a duel 🙃
Oliver: Lmao me too fam 🙃
Saint: By who?
Oliver: Crystal Empire
Saint: BOY SAME
Oliver: I'll see you later babe, maybe we could 😏🔥💗😩💦🍆

Oliver: I have to go, my dad is ranting about crystals 😂
Saint laughed and looked out of the window. The Crystal kingdom was shining in all its glory. People say that the Crystal kingdom shines more than the Solar Empire but Saint disagrees.
"Crystals shine when it reflects light so technically the crystal kingdom isn't shining naturally. They need the sun," Saint said loudly to herself.
"True," the driver commented.
They both laughed and had a conversation about Solar affairs.

"Oliver!" Saint shouted happily and jumped into Oliver's arms. Oliver twirled her around and kissed her forehead, "Hi, Sunshine,".
Saint blushed and held his hand, "Can we get ice cream later?". Oliver smiled and nodded at his childish girlfriend.
Saint's eyes lit up when Oliver agreed that they would ice cream, "Ooo, we can get vanilla and chocolate and strawberry and-".
Saint was cut off by the sound of trumpets, "The crystal royals will be making their arrival. Please clear the carpet," a man, that Saint assumed was a member of the Crystal Order, announced.
The doors opened to reveal the Queen of the Crystal empire. Her two children were behind her, the Prince and Princess of the Crystal Kingdom.
The prince had pastel pink hair and a killer smile. When Saint and the prince made eye contact, Saint was entirely mesmerised by his eyes. His eyes looked like sapphire crystals, he had a beautiful face too. He looked so androgynous and that caused Saint to be intrigued by his existence. Saint wanted to know more about him. She wanted to know why she had never met him in the eighteen years that she had lived.
Oliver noticed that Saint was staring at the crystal prince and felt a bit hurt. A small amount of fairy dust was on Oliver's shoulder but he didn't notice it.
The Crystal prince stood in front of Saint and he bowed to her, "Your solar highness,". He grabbed Saint's hand and kissed it.
Skylar noticed how Oliver glared at her brother so she quickly interrupted Saint's moment with the prince.
"Aren't you dating Demian, the prince of the fire kingdom?" Skylar pushed her brother aside, "Good evening your highness, I'm Princess Skylar," she said happily.
Her brother glared at her, "You weren't supposed to tell anyone that," he looked down and mumbled a few words that sounded like "Mother wouldn't allow it anyway,".
Saint's heart broke a little, the boy in front of her was not allowed to tell his own mother who he was in love with. Oliver mentally sighed but it was painful to know that someone was hiding their true love due to the fear of discrimination and hate.
Saint hugged the prince, "It's okay, I support you,".
The prince pulled away and his sapphire blue eyes had tears in them. He mouthed a "Thank you" to Saint and bowed in respect.
"My name is Sinclair, by the way," the prince said before he walked towards his mother.
Sinclair sounded oddly familiar to Saint, it reminded her of an old book that she read a long time ago.
Skylar bowed to Oliver and Saint before following Sinclair to the podium.
"Welcome to the Crystal Empire!" The queen announced proudly, "I am Queen Ares and today we will be having a friendly duel," she said joyfully.
The Queen of the Crystal Empire was a tall and skinny lady who looked highly intimidating but in reality she was actually a very jolly person who liked to pet cats and have afternoon tea with them.
Sinclair was afraid of coming out to his mother as he had read so many stories about teenagers getting disowned by their parents as they came out as LGBT to them. Sinclair was extremely terrified that his mother would find out that he was dating Demian so he had to flirt with a bunch of girls to make her think that he was straight.
Demian did understand why Sinclair had to do this but it secretly hurts him to know that his lover was giving other people affectionate attention.
Sinclair spotted the Fire prince from the podium and he shot him a toothy grin. Demian said that he was going to give Sinclair a surprise later that night and Sinclair was highly enthusiastic about it even though he didn't know what it was about. He just knew that he was going to spend time with his loving boyfriend.
Skylar knew what it was because Demian told her about it. She didn't mind Demian's surprise for her brother because she knew that Sinclair was old enough to do it, she just hoped that he would be able to do his royal duties the next day.
"The games will start in three hours. For now, let us feast!" The Queen announced and everyone cheered.
Sinclair and Demian had managed to sneak off somewhere and nobody had noticed that they were gone. Skylar had noticed, of course, she was his twin after all.
Saint and Oliver were behind a pillar exchanging kisses.
