Chapter 25 ~ White Wolf
"God Apollo has entered the Solar Kingdom, guards on standby." Phoenix said into the microphone connected to all the Risers' helmets.
It was the next day and the people of the Solar kingdom had been advised to be in doors at all times until the suspect is caught. Phoenix has not had any minute of sleep but he was still wide awake and energised, same with the rest of the Risers.
Ring Ring
"Hello Victoria, what's new?" Phoenix picked up the phone but kept his eyes on the screens in front of him.
"Okay, so we've figured out who it is. It's Chalice Drakkar Draven, he's a well known trickster and extremist, he's also tried to bomb other kingdoms before but he has failed in doing so." Victoria looked through the papers that had been scattered on her table throughout the night.
"Thank you Victoria, is that all?" Victoria hummed before answering.
"That's it, Phoenix. There's literally no records of him being born in one of the kingdoms." Phoenix thanked her again and hung up the phone.
The captain got out of his seat and made his way to the balcony where Apollo had requested to do the Solar Boom, Saint and Oliver were already there with him.
"God Apollo," Phoenix bowed to him in respect.
"Well isn't that my captain?" Apollo winked at him and bowed back.
Phoenix smiled, "Victoria has informed me that Chalice Drakkar Draven is the one who did all this." he looked out of the balcony that had the view of the whole kingdom.
"That little shit." Apollo mumbled under his breathe as he twirled his golden arrow with his fingers.
"The kingdom is huge, he must not be out yet as all the entrances to the empire has been on lock down, Chalice must be hiding somewhere." Phoenix pointed out, his body was so tense and Saint could feel it as she looked at him.
"I guess it's time I do this." Apollo said before sticking his sword into the ground which caused a blindly bright light to occur.
Oliver and Phoenix shielded their eyes while Saint was not at all affected by it, instead she embraced the light and smiled at the energy it gave.
"Completely indestructible, not even a god could break through it." Apollo said proudly while staring at his creation, "If he tries to touch it then I will instantly feel it as he isn't from this kingdom." he looked at Oliver before hugging him.
"My poor baby, it's not your fault that you couldn't smell the bomb." Apollo squished his cheeks before caressing his hair, "How'd you know I was thinking about that?" Oliver hugged him back.
This was a weird sight for Saint but she didn't mind, she thought it was amusing and cute how Apollo loved Oliver a lot.
"I can read minds, darling, and I know you think it's your fault but it's not. It's completely not your fault." Apollo kissed his forehead before letting him go.
Oliver smiled and thanked him.
"Cute." Saint whispered to no one.
