Chapter 6: Why her?

While I was sleeping I was having a dream but I was by myself in a dark void.

That's when I heard footstep from what I felt was behind me.

I began to look everywhere that's when I saw something approaching but what I saw took me by surprised.

It was her the dual colored haired girl back at the rally approaching towards me until she was basically face to face with me but she was shorter then me, at least up to my chin.

That's when she got to her the tip of her toes getting close to my lips just before a woke up.

"Oh come on!" I yelled only to cover mouth looking around to see in my surprise was not only my team but team RWBY in our dorm staring at me very confused.

"Um..glad to see your feeling better Leo." Ruby said breaking the awkward silence in the room.

"Yeah actually  I feel a lot better then when I got....here" I said noticing Blake and Marissa face turn into two menacing glares.

"Um.. I'm in trouble aren't I?" I asked them with an innocent smile as both girls walk over to me to only slap me on top of my head.

"DON'T YOU EVER DO SOMETHING SO STUPID EVERY AGAIN!" They both yell with an angry look on their faces which kind sacred me.

"I-I'm sorry I-I just thought was good idea at the time and I wanted to help you guys with the fight and-" That's when I got cut off when Blake brought me in for hug.

"I know Leo..you always do things with good intentions it's just...don't be so reckless." She said as her hug gets tighter.

"Yeah dude you had us  scared when sun brought you back Marissa was about to start shaking you until you woke up but thankfully she didn't do that." Eagle said earning a glare from Marissa.

"Buuuut that's not why we're all here" Yang said putting her hand on her hips as Blake started letting go of me.

"Wait then why are you guys here then?" I said just to immediately regret asking the question when their faces turned into a grins.

"Weeeell there's this dance coming up and all of us have dates. Except you." Yang said to me with a very big grin on her face.

"Not interested." I said standing up strechting.

"But Leo you can't just not go to the dance." Blake said looking at me with a slightly irritated look on her face.

"Blake you know me I'm not one for dancing and no one at this school interest me to even bother asking to go." I said walking towards the door opening the door.

"And where are you going now?" Blake said with a bit of anger in her voice.

"I'm going for a walk I'll be back later" I replied back to her as I walked out the door putting my hands back in my pockets.

"You better not come back here with bruises or I'll kill you Leo!" I heard Marissa yell from a distance as I went down the stairs to the courtyard of the school.

"Jeez can you believe him? How can he not go to the dance?" Marissa said laying back on her bed pouting.

"If I'm being forced to go with bird boy over there then he should go to."

"Hey i asked you and you said yes!"

"That's only because you promised me food." Marissa said giving Eagle a small smile thinking about the food.
