Chapter 14: The beginning of the end

I was walking back to my dorm thinking about the conversation between Neo and I. The fact that she's even at Beacon Academy is still surprising to me.

I began questioning some things now. I asked myself what is her reasons on being here and whose team is she even on?

Just as I reached my dorm room to open the door, the door swings open hitting my face directly.

"Hey I'm going to go out to find Leo be back in a bit." Eagle said before closing the door just to find me on ground grabbing my nose.

"Umm nevermind I found him.."

"I hate you so much right now!" I yelled back standing back up rubbing my nose.

I stand back up holding my nose walking in the room seeing Marissa laying on the bed and Roland heading towards me.

"Come on, we need to get our weapons the tournament starts in an hour." He said walking past me heading towards the locker rooms.

"Oh right" I respond then looks at Marissa then back at Eagle.

"I'm guessing your going to wake her up?"

"Yeah. If I'm not there in five minutes send help." He said gripping my shoulder with this serious look on his face.

"Um sure." I said walking off catching up to Roland.

After getting our weapons we got on the bullhead and headed towards the 
Vytal festival.

I had to admit I was pretty excited for it but there was just one problem.

I don't like to fight in crowds, especially since they all be watching me fight.

Once we got there the matches has already started with team RWBY vs team ABRN.

They were doing great their teamwork was nearly perfect. I wish I could say the same thing for the other team though.

They seemed so uncoordinated and I could tell this was a one sided fight.

Team ABRN already lost a member, some girl with a hover board blade that can change into a some short of gun but Blake but her down easy.

I will admit though she did look kinda cute but nothing compared to Neo.

Team RWBY won the fight with stunning team combo that had Yang practically tackle the entire team sending them out of the ring.

The crowd, along with my team, we're cheering them on with a stunning victory as out matches crept closer and closer.

My team went to go congratulat them but I stayed to watch the next match, it was Neo's team vs another Team I didn't catch the name of.

When Neo walked out I could tell she was looking for me though I think she was expecting me to not be there because before she found me in the stands she had a frown on her face but she didn't have the parasol she usually had but I guess she didn't need it.

When she fought with little to no effort at all, though I think the stomping on the guys face was a bit much but her team won flawlessly.

Neo looked up at me and winked which I'm guessing means she'll meet me later but I had to go and meet up with my team back at the fairgrounds.

I finally got to the fairgrounds and meet with my team who were at the food court. I sat next Roland who gave me nice smile while Marissa and Eagle were bickering at each other.

"And I'm TELLING you that your not keeping my jacket princess!"

"You say that now but don't come crying to me when it mysteriously goes missing Birdboy." She said with a slight teasing giggle that seemed to make Eagle more mad than he already was.

"How long have they been at it this time?"

"Since the match with team RWBY ended." He said with a sigh.

"Jeez, that long?" I asked wide eyed only receive a silent nod while he takes a bite of his burger.

I couldn't help but smile seeing them like this though. I saw the team as more of a second family and I enjoyed my time with them everyday.

A few minutes past and the next match was about to begin back at the arena, this time being team JNRP vs team BRNZ.

While watching the match I could tell Jaune was improving in his leadership skills but his fighting skills still need much improvement.

The fight itself was pretty entertaining until team JNRP had a bit of a team meeting in the middle of the match.

Even though they managed to win the fight with just one swing of Nora's hammer, it still was good fight. Everyone was clapping and cheering, even me and my team.

Than I froze. I finally hit me. My team was next to fight the next team. I was shaking a bit and I was growing nervous.

Could I actually do it? Could I fight while keeping my infamous cool?
