Team RELM: Darkness Ascension

Chapter 15: Team RELM vs Team PUTA

After the announcement of our team was going next, we started getting ready for the match.

We were adjusting our weapons to make sure everything worked properly. Last thing we need is our weapons malfunctioning during the match giving us a disadvantage.

Roland was polishing his buster sword before putting it on his back. Eagle was checking the clip of his tommy gun making sure it was filled with enough dust bullets and Marissa was asleep but she around had her weapon on her.

As for me I already had my chained disasters on but I was sitting on a bench in the locker rooms collecting myself. Even though I'm known for my calm and collected attitude, I have stage fright and fighting in front of a huge crowd made me incredibly nervous.

I kept looking at ground thinking to myself, thinking of ways to keep myself calm during the fight. I sighed pulling out my scroll to see if I listen to music before the match started.

Before I could even put in the ear buds and start listen to my music I heard the announcement bell ring off
and I felt my heart sink hearing what it said.

"Will Team RELM and Team PUTA please come to the fighting stage, I repeat will Team RELM and Team PUTA please come to the fighting stage."

I sighed as I put my scroll back in my locker hearing the others walk over to me.

"You ready Leo?"

"I guess....I'm still nervous but I'll be okay." I said to Roland trying my best to smile for them.

They returned to smile and began walking toward the arena. I took a deep breath and followed after them

We finally got to the fighting arena with a large audience cheering loudly.

I began looking around to see if could find some familiar faces in the stands. Sure enough I found Blake and the rest of team RWBY cheering us on, along with team JNPR.

I continued looking around then I found Neo looking at me waving with a big smile on her face.

I couldn't help but wave back with a small blush on my face. Then I look at the team we were about to fight.

They all seemed normal except for the girl on their team.

She had wings where her arms would usual be. It was hard to tell what kind of bird fanus she was but she would definitely be a problem if she could fly with those wings.

"Alright ladies and gentlemen we have the final match of the four verus four portion of the Vytel Festival tournament!"

"That's right and for our final match we have Team RELM of Beacon fighting against Team PUTA of Vale! Now let's see what environment they will be fighting in!"

The holographic images start rotating rapidly for a few seconds before stopping one being an image of a forest and another being a destroyed city.

The arena then began to shift behind us was a dense forest and behind the other team was a bunch desolated buildings.

"Now both teams seem ready to fight would you like to do the honors Oobleck?"

"But of course Peter. Alright the fight begins in 3. 2. 1. BEGIN!"

The brown haired boy began charging at me directly with his katana swinging it at me rapidly. I quickly jump back surprised at his sudden attack.

I started to retaliate at him tossing my spearhead at him narrowing my eyes at him as he dodges them.

Before he could hit me with his blade he them gets shot in the side sending him in to the forest. I look over to see Roland cannon smoking with him giving me a thumbs up before shifting his cannon back to a buster sword blocking bullets from a red head boy.

I turn to the forest katana boy got knocked into and run into it jumping up into a tree branch jumping from one branch to the other.

I then noticed a few bushes shaking in the distance. I narrowed my eyes looking that direction before stopping above it looking around glaring.

"Where are you..."

I suddenly see him jump at me. I react grabbing the branch doing a spin kick hitting him in the back of the head sending him back to the ground.

I quickly jump after him wrapping a chain around his leg tossing him into a tree making him loss his sits.

"Young Tyson has been elimated it is now four against three in Team RELM's favor!"

I smile before running back to my team seeing them all fighting.

I look around trying to find an opening to help out the others. I soon see one when Marissa wraps her wires around the bird girls left wing trying to pull her out of the sky.

I smirk as I launch a chain around her right wing pulling her down to the ground making her fall to the ground.

I then press a button on my gauntlet sending out electricity shocking her
As her aura deplete to zero.

"Ah it would appear young Pamela has been elimated as well! The fight still in favor of Team RELM!"

Roland looks over at me then nods. I then nod in return looking at our last two opponents as I activate my semblance covering the arena in the black smoke engulfing them both.

"Looks like young Leonidas has activated his semblance, Nightmare mist!"

"That's right when his semblance is active when ever he is inside the mist his speed increases giving him the ability to take out enemy's without even knowing what happened all they would see are his ruby red eyes!"

I then charge at them doing swift cuts at the last two slowly knocking their aura down as then shoot wildly try to shoot me.

I then jump out of the smoke as look over as I see Roland charge up his cannon before shooting them both out of bounds.

"That's it's! After a spectular finish Team RELM are the winners!"

I looked around at everyone on my team smiling before looking at the crowd.

'We did it. We're going to advance to the two verse two tournament!'
