Team RELM: Darkness Ascension

Chapter 13: We meet again.

Once the bullhead landed we said goodbye to cloud, the pilot of said bullhead.

All four us decided to go to the cafeteria to get some food. Marissa immediately bolted after we said the word food.

The rest of soon got there seeing Marissa stuffing her face with a plate full of food at one of the table we usually sit at.

As I was gathering my food I started to look around to see if I saw any familiar faces around here. Unfortunately I didn't see anyone I knew but I did notice a girl staring at me strangly she wore a black skirt, a black top that didn't cover her belly at all and had black hair with twin pigtails. She also had green eyes.

It was kind of creepy just have this random girl just...stare at me with this equally creepy smile like she was extremely happy to see me.

I quickly looked away and grabbed my tray of food heading to Marissa with the other following behind me as I walked past her.

I sat down but even when I'm not facing the girl I could still feel her staring at me but when I turned around to confirm my suspicions she wasn't just staring at me but she was glaring at me as if I offended her in some way.

I quickly turned around with those spooked expression on my face. Roland was the first to notice.

"Hey you ok Leo? You look like you've seen a ghost." He said putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Uh yeah, I'm good." I replied back taking a bite of my burger trying to act as if nothings wrong.

I could still feel her cold glare behind me but I didn't want to check this time. I hurried trying to finish my food to find a good enough excuse to leave.

"Well I'm done eating. I'm going to go for a walk around campus for a bit I'll see you guys in a few ok?" I say as I quickly get up and rush out the door not giving them any time to respond.

Once I reached the outside of the cafeteria, I sighed in relief that I got away from that creepy girl. That's when I felt a finger tap my shoulder.

I turned around only to see it was her staring up at me with her arms crossed giving me that same cold glare from before.

"U-um hello there miss? What can I help you with?" I asked her but that seemed to make her more upset which lead to her flicking my forehead.

"Ow! what was that for lady?!" I said glaring at her.

She just sighed as she closed her eyes opening them again revealing that her eyes were different but familiar colors. One was pink and the other was brown.

"Wait. Neo is that you?" I asked eyes widened.

She simply nodded but still had a frown on her face just not as bad as the one she gave me at the cafeteria.

She began to write something on her small notebook then showed it to me.

"How could you not recognize your own girlfriend Leo!"

"Hey, it's is not my fault you changed your look and your eye color by the way that's actually really cool neo." I said with small smile.

She only shakes her head putting her hands on her exposed hips. I raised a brow hesitated to ask her something about her outfit but she seemed to catch on once she looked down at her body then back at me with a confused look on her face.

"Um don't you think that outfits a bit...much Neo?" I asked putting my hands in my pockets looking down at her.

She looked back then the back at me with pouted frown then started writing down on her notebook.

"What's wrong with how I look Leo?"

"Nothing Neo to be honest you look really cute it's just battle wise you don't have much to protect you from damage." I replied rubbing the back of my neck.

She begins to write again.

"You say that like they would actually land a blow on me Leo." She looked at me with a confident smirk on her face.

"I guess. Even though I've never seen  you actually fight." I said leaning back on a wall.

She began walking over to me before hugging me tightly causing me to blush a bit before hugging back.

She then let's go of me showing me a note in her hand.

"I was worried about you while you gone."

I felt her hug getting tighter as I read her not. I just kissed her forehead smiling.

"Sorry if I worried you like that Neo."

She soon enough let my body go and looked up at me smiling.

She started writing once again.

"Hey I have to get back to my dorm my team wants to talk me about something, I'll talk to later ok?"

I simply just nod as I finish reading what's she wrote down.

She gets on her the tips of her toes and lightly kisses my lips before walking in the direction of her dorm. I could of sworn I say her sway her hips a bit as she walking away.

I merely shrug it off and start heading back to my dorm assuming my teammates are also there as well.

'I never thought she come to this school. Actually, why did she decide to enroll here?'
