Chapter 17: Two VS Two

It's been two hours since my talk with Blake about our past. Now here I am putting on my Chain disasters, getting ready for the two verses two fight between Marissa and I going against two members of team FURY. I looked at the mirror in the locker rooms examining my outfit and fixing my beanie. I took a deep breath and headed out the door to meet up with Marissa.

I walked out and looked around for Marissa. I soon noticed her leaning on the wall near the exit, she noticed me and waved me over after letting out a small yawn.

"You ready to do this leo?" She said getting off the wall stretching her arms.

"Emotionally no, physically yes." I replied with a small sigh.

She then puts her hand on my shoulder giving me a soft smile.

"Your still nervous about fighting in a big crowd right?" She asked only to get a nod in a reply.

Before I could give a proper excuse to her i heard the intercoms go off ready to give the announcement.

"Can team RELM and team FURY please report to the battle arena I repeat can team RELM and team FURY please report to the battle arena."

"Well thats our queue." I said then i headed toward the exit and towards the battle arena with Marissa following behind.

Once we got to the arena i could hear the loud crowd of people screaming and cheering as i adjusted my gauntlets.

I manged to pin point where my team, team RWBY, and team JNRP was though i couldn't find Neo anywhere.

I looked back ahead and saw who my opponents were.

One was a boy named Reyes he looked to be wearing clothes similar the Jaune's but the hoodie was blue with blue sleeves along with black torn pants and blue sneakers. He had a bit of light tan skin tone with ocean blue eyes. His hair was short with small bang over his left eye, the edges of his hair hand a small hint of blue similar to how Ruby's hair looks.  His weapon he was carrying around to be a mixture of sharp daggers and a bow what i guessed is that the bow can be split apart and used as daggers.

The girl next to him was called Fiona she was a fox fanus with dark tanish skin, short brown redish hair that goes to her shoulders, wearing black ripped jeans and a dark red sleeveless shirt with a small brown jacket thats ziped open and it doesnt cover her stomach. Her eyes are a deep green and for some reason she had black tattoos of a chinese dragon go down her arms then onto her hands. The weapon she had looked like two razor sharp fans.

They both looked confident and ready to go as the countdown begin going down.

I then got into my fighting stance as the two spearheads come out of my gauntlets, while marissa let her strings extend and her face becomes this emotionless stare that still kind of scared me when ever she did it.

Once the countdown hit zero i charged toward Reyes Swinging my spearhead at him but he ducks underneath them before going for kick only to get his leg and tossed into the air

I noticed that he began to smirk as he starts spinning in midair grabbing an ice arrow then shooting at me but I dodge it and it lands behind me freezing the ground causing making me lose my balance.

While that was happening, Marissa breaks into a sprint and leaps up, spinning downward to gain momentum as she slams her strings down on Fiona but she backflips before the strings hit her, doing a few twirls before she smirks and throws one of her fans at her, acting like a saw blade.

Back to my fight with Reyes he smirks looking at me stumbling as hr grabs another arrow filled with fire dust crystals then launching them at ice making the area around me foggy as he runs into it

Seeing what Reyes was planning to do I smirk as I get my footing then vanishing into fog then running out of it and toward Fiona. seeing the fan, I swing my spearhead knocking it off its course toward Marrisa

Reyes then runs out of fog heading towards me breaking his bow apart turning them into daggers then going to swipe at me with them only to have Marissa's strings wrap around his arm and toss him away from me but causing her to lose her balance slightly.

Fiona saw the opening she needed as she narrows her eyes and jumps in front of Marissa, makes a finger pistol symbol with her hand and pointed it toward her. She then smirks as her eyes flash to a red and her dragon tattoos turn a matching color. "stick em up." Thats when fire starts coming out her fingers like a flamethrower.

My eyes widen before quickly wrapping my chains around Fiona's arm then making her shoot it upwards.

I sighed in relief then i activate my semblance surrounding the field in a thick black fog.

I then nod at Marissa then going inside of the fog now with my speed increased I dash off running around hitting them a few times while Marissa activates her semblance and starts controling Fiona making her attack Reyes at the same time I'm attacking both of them.

Suddenly Fiona grits teeth as her eyes change to ice blue and her tattoos change to a blue ice dragon. she than shoots a icy mist around her, freezing herself and marissas arms at the same time.

I started noticing Reyes's aura was starting to get low. I then make my move slashing at him mutiple times then kicking him one final time out of the smoke and onto a wall making his aura reach zero knocking him out of the fight.

I turn my attention towards Fiona who was free from Marissa's control. I look over at Marissa who looked like she was knocked out but her aura was still there so she wasn't out of the fight.

My semblance was still active so i started circling her again letting out small snickers that echoed through fog.

I could tell that my semblance was starting to annoy her. Thats when i noticed her tattoos turn purple with musical notes around the dragons, she makes finger pistols and shoots sound waves around her threw the smoke making it disappear and blowing me backwards.

I then noticed that my semblance being blown back as well making it disappear. Thats when i noticed Marissa wasn't knocked out but she was asleep. I then facepalmed letting out an annoyed sigh and i swear i heard her giggling about donuts.

Thats when i heard a loud scream. I looked up and my eyes widened when i saw that Marissa litterally started bitting Fiona's leg.

I then decided to use this as an opening so ran up to her and kicked her sending her out of arena ensuring our victory. In the weirdest way possibly....
