Years passed and now Alice became a middle schooler despise her health was getting much better than before Dr. Midorima told her to not exhaust herself despise she finnaly could go to school, Midorima sighed as Alice decide on to join the basketball club manager since she want to know at how good her bestfriend could play.
"You're so stupid like always huh?"
"Whats with that attitude? I realy want to know how well can you play basketball since I dont have a chance to see it"
Alice pouts making Midorima sighed and fix his glasses out of embarassment
"Do as you wish"
"If I remember correctly Sei is also entering this school right?"
"I dont know"
The two talked to each other until Alice bumped into a baby blue haired boy and apologized but only to feel a little weird since Midorima didn't saw him
"Don't randomly trip over your own legs"
"S-sorry..."

A few weeks passed and somehow Alice managed to follow up with Midorima who worked hard at both his studies and club activity, Alice immideatly got liked by the captain and the coach because of her observation skill that seem to be a perfect match with a pinkete's skill to gain information.
"Alice~chan!"
"Momoi-san... please refrain yourself from attacking me"
Alice said as she sweatdropped at how the pinkete always attack her with sudden hugs and surprises that cease to amaze her at how active her friend is. Midorima noticed that Momoi was clinging on to Alice who was having trouble by judging by her slightly troubled face.
"Momoi let go of Sonohara, she seem to have trouble breathing"
"Ah sorry Alice-chan and besides why are you here Midorin?"
"We're having lunch together"
Alice said making Midorima immedeatly blushed at how direct she is but he was quite relived since she didn't saw his red face, as if Momoi knew that Alice was so dense towards orhers feelings about her she cant help but to chuckle at how obivous Midorima was since he doesn't want Alive to notice his feelings towards her
"Midorin~ good luck!"
Momoi said before she ran off making Midorima blushed more knowing what she meant
"stop sticking your nose into someone's problem!"
Midorima shouted as Momoi only laughed as she ran away from the raging male who sighed at his stupidity and turn to his friend who was having trouble with the bitter drink he gave her since she doesn't like to drink cofee she was shock to taste the bitter drink for the first time and unknowingly she also made Midorima smiled lightly at her unique way of showing her pressured expression
"don't force yourself if you can't drink the coffee"
"but... I do pity the plant if I threw it away.."
Midorima sighed as if he knows exactly she would say such things to him but he couldn't help but to form a small smile on his lips when he saw her small pout formed on her pale face, he took the drink away from her before he drank it just before she could protest at him
"better now?"
"t-thank you..."
she muttered before she looked outside as if she saw something that catch her attention making the male followed the direction where she was looking only to notice that she was looking at a group of students running in the school yard that made him relise that she too want to know how it feel to run if it wasn't because of her condition
"are you jealous?"
"I don't know... but I do wonder how it feels to run"
"stupid, you're thinking too much but... I also might have a feeling like that if I was you-but its not like I want to understand it"
Alice chuckled at his selfish and dishonest side but she couldn't help but to feel better knowing that her friend did tried to comfort her with his own way, Midorima seem to notice the sadness and loneliness in her eyes but he couldn't understand why did she have such mixed emotions in her eyes despise her cheerful character she sometimes made a sad and lonely expression but disapeared as fast as it was shown.
"Midori-kun let's go to the club should we?"
Alice asked with a fake smile as Midorima nodded in agreement since it was almost time for the club practice to begin and worse only 5 minutes was left before the club practice begin that made him panick sine his captain doesn't like anyone to be late
"Sonohara lets hurry to the club'
"but I can't run..."
Alice protessed only to be carried by Midorima who dashed to the gym while carrying her on his back, 3 minutes later the two reached the gym and Midorima gently put Alice down from his back before he dashed to the changing room and got back perfectly 4 minutes that was lucky for him to be got off with a warning from his captain Njimura Shuzou
"sorry Midori-kun..."
"no its okay, and did you enjoy the feeling?"
Alice chuckled when her friend questioned her the feeling of running despise she was carried
"it was enjoyable"
Midorima smiled and patted Alice's head gently before he went back to practice since he could feel the dangerous glare from Nijimura despise the older male was far from him.Alice went to take some sports drink that Momoi prepared just before the practice started since the pinkete take the towels, Alice carried the pile of bottles on her small arms and walk back to the gym but bumped to a baby blue haired boy on her way.
"s-sorry..."
"no, i'm sorry to not pay attention where I'm walking"
the boy apologized as he help Alice take the bottles and carry them to the first string players that was located in the main gym, Alice seem to notice that the boy have a pale skin almost at the same colour as her and the big blue eyes that catches her attention since it have the same colour with her right eye that she hid beneath her bangs. the two talked to each others until they reached the gym that made the two bid goodbye after they introduce theirselves, once club was over Alice and Midorima went home together with the other 1st years but on their way to the gate Alice stops when a blonde catches her eyes. the male was from the soccer club and he seem to be very skilled with it but he stops when he saw Alice who also seem to notice him
"Lisacchi.../ Ryo... chan...?"
the two muttered making Midorima froze once he saw the affection that was in Alice's eyes that he never saw as his chest thighten at the unknown pain from just looking at her expression
