unbearable feelings (a kuroko no basket fanfiction)

Alice sat on the hospital bed looking outside the window not knowing what to do since she've finished her letters for the others, as usual Midorima came with her favourite mochi which he always brought her everytime he came to visit

"Alice how's the mochi?"

"Excelent!"

The snow hair stated as she ate the sweet hapily making the green hair smiled at the sight of her content and blushed when the snow hair smiled at him while holding a mochi for him to eat

"Aah... please?"

"S-stupid... I won't do such thing!"

The green hair said only to have his shirt pulled and a mochi stuffed to his mouth while he blushed

"Always works... haha"

Alice chuckled not caring that Midoriya was blushing and a second later a tear escaped his green orbs shocking the snow hair yet she kept silent knowing why he was crying

"Midori-kun... thays unfair you know?... to cry when I was in this state"

"Why aren't you scared? How can you smile so freely? Why does the fact doesn't scare you so?! Its almost like you're trying so hard to keep smilling until the end..."

Alice kept silent before she reach out for the green hair with a smile she pat his head gently not caring his complaints making the green hair cried on her shoulder silently, once Midoriya calmed down he was shocked to see how Alice smiled which he now know his answer from his questions earlier

She wanted to smile because that is the way she hid her pain and fear and because she wanted others to smile at her too

Days passed and finnaly it was Kuroko's birthday which Alice's condition was beyond worse, everyday she will forget everything except for Kise and worse her pale skin was almost white like a sheet due to the lack of nutrients. Alice didn't ate anything for days yet her stomach doesn't show any sign of hunger or either any signs of her wanting to eat

"Sonohara-san... my name is Kuroko Tetsuya and I'm your friend"

"Kuroko Tetsuya... but I don't remember I have other friends kther than Ryou..."

"3 years ago we became friends even if you don't remember me I'm still your friend"

Alice chuckled at Kuroko's statement yet she didn't know that the sight of her without memories destroyed his heart, the girl smiled and again her innocent smile hurt him more without knowing

"You are a strange person Kuroko-kun"

Kuroko bit his lip to hid his suffer, he know that the girl he see is no longer the same as she was like the first time he met but he can't help but to wish atleast she called his name like she used to even if it was imposible

"Kuroko-kun? Whats wrong?"

"No, its nothing Sonohara-san"

Kuroko smiled before Alice noticed a calendar showing that today was his birthday which it shock him

"Kuroko-kun... is it your birthday today?"

"Yes"

"Waa! Happy birthday Kuroko-kun and sorry... I didn't prepare any presents for you"

Alice said as she played her fingers in embarassment, Kuroko pulled the snow hair to a hug which shock the girl but she hugged back a second later thinking that it would made the male happy.

Kuroko left the room when Alice fell asleep and as soon as he came out he was greeted by a polite bow from her butler

"Kuroko-sama please accept this present from Alice-sama, she told me to give it at your birthday... maybe she know this would happen"

The butler said as he gave the bluenette a box which made Kuroko cried at how selfish and unfair she is yet at the sametime so caring and calm, the blue hair cried himself for half an hour before he left to Kagami's place since he promised to go there with the GOM.

Half a week passed and almost like a coincidence 5 days after Kuroko's birthday Alice's health dropped drasticaly making the others rushed to the hospital with heavy heart they finnaly saw the girl they knew

"Akashi-kun... Mura-kun... Momo-chan.. Midori-kun... Aomin-kun... and.. Kuro-san... sorry"

"Don't apologize..."

Akashi said as he held her left hand while tears rolled down from his ruby orbs, the room was filles with sobs as Alice can only smile

"Al-chan... don't go! Please don't sleep..."

"Haha... so...ry... I wish... I can... go back... to..the pa...st... and... play... with all... of... yo...u... again..."

"Stop forcing yourself to talk! Just shut up!"

Midorima said as his heart felt shattered and ripped to billion pieces, Alice can only smile while tears escaped her mismatched orbs not listening to her friemds words

"Huh...? Where... a..re yo...u... all?... haha... so...ry... but... I... want to... see... Ryou... and go... back... li...ke be..fo..re..."

Alice said before she fell asleep as the others cried at her selfish wish just before a blonde came slamming the door open shocking the others
