Alice's pov

I stared at Kaijo high before I went inside to look for the principal's room but only to find my feet brought me to the gym where a crowd of girls was squealing, I think they just broke my eardrums with those high-pitched scream that is until the familiar name was shouted that made me ran to the crowd and got pushed inside harshly while their squeals realy hurt my ears that is until I slipped and fell backwards to the floor that made the girls instantly shut their mouth

"Ow..."

I winced as a sharp pain stabbed my right ankle but weirdly I feel no pain on my back and only a warm feeling as if I fell on top of someone- wait.. on top of someone...

I instantly bolt up and found myself lying on top of a black haired man with a lightly visible green hair on the tips but what caught my attention was his weirdly satisfied (???) expression

"Are you okay...?"

Questioning myself why does such a weird man exist but I do feel grateful for him to catch me even if he also fell down

"I'm alright since I save such a beauty like you, my body will always be alright as long as you are sa-Buh!"

A kick landed on his cheek making the poor man fainted in an instant as I shivered lightly when a stern voice alerts my ears

"Hey, what are you doing?"

I tilt my head up to look at the male who stood infront of me only to notice that he was red before I tilt my head to my right

"Nothing, I was just wondering where the principal's room is"

I said making the boy offered his hand to me as I gladly took it while he helped me up but only to bit my lips at the painful stab on my right ankle

"Thank you, please excuse me"

I said before someone held my hand thightly that made the crowd of girls squeal

"Lisacchi...?"

I froze, before I turn around only to fell on the floor because of the pain stabbing my right ankle

"R-Ryou?... i-its been a while"

I said as I looked away before I felt someone held my right ankle but only to wince in pain and held the hand that held my ankle

"Stop... it hurts"

I winced as I relise that Ryou was the one who held my ankle and in a flash I can feel my blood rise to my cheeks making my cheeks felt hot like it was burning

"How can you twist your ankle so easily?"

"I don't know... and I don't want to know since it was an accident"

I said slightly pouting that made the male infront of me chuckle before turn his back to me while motioning me to went to his back which I did as he carries me as if I was nothing, embarrassed I hid my face on his back as his sweet yet gentle scent filled my nostrils. I feel so weird... just by his actions itself made me embarrassed... but why... why don't I feel like this with others? happy yet at the sametime its painful,  it hurts so much that I don't want him to know.

3rd person's pov

Kise carried Alice to the infirmary where no one was there since it was still early in the morning, he gently let Alice sat on one of the bed before he looks for something in the cardboards  while Alice looked down to the floor as if she was lost on her own thoughts

"Lisacchi, its a little late but... its been a while-ssu"

Kise said as Alice only nodded in response, she hated how he was so gentle with her despise she lied to him for so many times that she had lost count but at the sametime she knows that because he's so gentle that was enough to make her scared of him knowing about her health problems

"it is... sorry but can you leave me alone...? I want to be alone for some reason"

"...ok, if that's what you want-ssu"

"thank you Ryou"

Alice muttered as Kise gave her something to relieve her ankle before he left the room a little disapointed

"Midori-kun, did he already know about this?.... so mean of him to not tell me, haha... ha... well, I can't blame him since he'll know my answer"

Alice muttered as she treat her ankle alone before she left the infirmary and look for the principal's office and once she found what she's been loking for she didn't hesitate and went inside the room before she start to have debates with the principal about her new classroom and the materials that she missed for a whole month which surprisingly Alice didn't realy care about the materials as if she already know that made the principal gave up at how stubborn she is. a knock was heard before a ginger haired girl entered the room

"Reina, you are late"

the principal said making the ginger haired girl sighed  as she scratches her neck in annoyance

"what about it? its not like the school already rang, besides is she the girl that you mentioned yesterday?"

the ginger questioned before she gave a dry smile to Alice who look at her questionaly

"why are you forcing a smile? its alright if you don't like me, either way its nice to meet you, Yukimura Reina"

Alice said as she smiled shocking the two in the room and Reina who was amused with her direct way of talking to her, once the two left the principal's room Reina immedeatly went silent because of what her father told her about Alice's health problem and about her having the 2nd stage of cancer

"Is it that shocking to know about the truth?"

Reina went wide eyes at Alice's question and at the sametime it anger her knowing at how calm Alice was despise her condition

"Why... why are you so calm?! Do you even know its almost impossible to recover from a cancer?!... you... are you not scared of dea-"

"I am scared but, I can't just sit on the hospital bed and wait for death to come"
