unbearable feelings (a kuroko no basket fanfiction)

A few months passed and slowly the weather changed, from spring to summer where Alice and Reina somehow managed to be the basketball manager's club after what they've talk last time. Alice sighed when a sharp stabbing pain filled her chest when she saw Reina and Kise was having fun with each others, she know she have to bear the pain but she never know it was much harder than she thought it would be

"Its okay, everything is alright... I need to take some towels"

She muttered before she went to take some towels only to threw the towles away when a cockroach crawled near her, not wanting to move she trembled at the bug that crawled away from her making her instantly bolt away while carrying a few basket of towels with her. Alice panted as she was unfamiliar with how her heart beats so fast in fear, she wasn't the type to get easily scared but maybe she is quite bad with insects and scary things so she thought it was the reason why her heart beats so fast

"Sonohara? What are you doing?"

A familiar gentle yet stern voice rang her ears that made her look at the male that was a few meters away from her

"K-Kobori-senpai, I'm preparing the towels for everyone"

Alice shuttered as she looked away from the male who took the pile of towels from her

"You look pale, go take some rest, I'll tell Kasamatsu and the coach that you're sick"

"N-no I'm alright, anyways I heard that there's a practice match with seirin high roday right?"

Alice asked trying to change the subject that somehow Kobori followed, she entered the gym with Kobori that made Moriyama jealous since he never had luck with girls (due to his weird way of talking with girls) just before Kise and Reina entered the gym with seirin high's basketball players as Alice left the gym to bring some drinks for the members not relising a certain baby blue haired boy who seem to notice her pressence but decide to shrug it off since he wasn't sure

Alice went back to the gym but only to bump a brown haired girl that made the mountain of bottles fell to the ground and some fell to the girls while the boys was a little too late to react

"Sorry... are you hurt?"

Alice questioned as she look at the brunette infront of her but only to make the group panick since she have a bruise just on her forehead

"Instead of worrying others how about you worry about yourself?!"

A glasses male said but only to froze when he saw blood on her lips while Alice laughed

"I'm alright besides its my fault to not look where I'm going-"

"You haven't changed a little do you Sonohara-san?"

A baby blue haired male said making Alice flinched lightly when she saw a familiar baby blue hair

"K-Kuro-san... its been a while"

"Kuroko you know her?!"

"Yes, she is Midorima-kun's childhood friend"

Kuroko said only to make his team mates froze while Alice take the bottles on the ground and the others helped her carry the bottles to the gym

"Sonohara! What's taking you so long?! And Kise! Stop flirting!"

The coach said as Alice only sighed at his bad mood but nothenless she thanked Kuroko's team mates for helping her

Alice observed the match and it seems she was quite amused at how Kuroko's partner Kagami played not to mention how easily he lost his temper that made her sweatdropped

"Sonohara, what do you think so far?"

The coach asked only to make Alice kept silent since she have a feeling that Kagami have a potential just like Kise and the others

"I don't know for sure, but I do think its best to keep Kuro-san on guard and Kagami-kun with a double team not to mention I'm not sure if I can precisely think its best to keep it this way"

Alice explained as her hetereomatic eyes scanned the players only to get a hunch for taking more points when Kuroko wasn't around

"Coach, I think its best to ambush when Kuro-san isn't around"

The coach looked at Alice confusedly but only to hit her back roughly making the poor girl whimper at the pain on her back as she rub her back in pain

"You should change that atitude"

Alice burst out laughing when Kagami broke the ring which made the coach angry since they have to use the bigger court and unknowingly to them Alice disapeared at the second half of the practice match, Alice coughed as her asthma seem to get worse each day and it almost looks like she could cough out blood because of how violent her cough was heard. Reina seem to notice Alice's disapearance but only to see her coughing violently alone until she noticed that she was coughing blood which made her dash to the poor snow haired girl

"Alice! Hey, you're coughing blood! Where's your medicine?!"

Reina panicked only to find Alice's medicine on her jacket before she dash back to take a bottle of water and ran out which made the others wonder whats wrong with her, Reina gave Alice her medicine and the bottle which the snow hair obediently drink the medicine before her condition became better minutes later

"Why didn't you drink your medicine?! You know that your condition os so unstable right?!"

"I don't care... either way I'm going to die sooner or later anyways"

Alice said as she was her blood stained hand on the girl's restroom and wipe of the blood that was on her mouth, the sweet taste of blood realy make her feel quite scared knowing her condition was getting worse

"Reina... what if I'll do something cruel to myself but enough for me to feel happy?"
