The Shadow (Chapter 7)

Carina POV

"Well, we really love our fan-"

"Is there something wrong, Sonia ?"

After Harry said 'love' she started to laugh. A humorless laugh.

"You love your fans ? Love ?" sne snorted

"Do you have a problem with that ?" Louis snapped. Well, I guess she really hit a nerve. " Do you have something against our fans ?"

"No, of course not. Most of your fans are lovely. But I do think you have no idea what love is. No, let me finish." she said when she saw that the boys were trying to stop her.

"You can't know what love is, because love does not exist. Love is an ilussion.We are not in love with a person,  we are in love with the idea of being in love.  We like to think that we are loved by someone, that we are not alone, but we are just lying to ourselves. I don't want to hurt anyone, but this is the truth. I am sorry you are too blind to see it."

I could the boys struggling to keep their calm.

"What are you saying ? What the actual fuck are you saying ? You have no idea what you are talking about ! This is bullshit. I am sure you are that girl whose family is shit, who is struggling to pay for her rent, who has no idea what's going on in the real world  because she is fucking drunk all the time. Are you on drugs too ?" Well, I guess Louis couldn't do it. "And about lyrics ? Have you ever written a song ? You can't just come here and speak when you have no fucking idea what you are talking about !"

I looked at Sonia, and for a moment I was scared. She was emotionless. Her eyes were cold and her lips were pressed in a thin line. She looked deadly calm. Irina had her hand oh her shoulder trying to talk with her,but she kept ignoring her. And then she stood up.

"I never wrote lyrics, huh ?" "Irina, why don't we sing a bit, yeah ?"

They stood up and started singing. For a moment I felt like crying. They voices together were just incredible.

When they finished, I had tears in my eyes.

"You wrote that ?" Liam asked

"Yes. Well, me and Irina. She did the music part." "So maybe, you should think twice Louis, before you say something. By the way, you are wrong. I have a fucking perfect life. My parents are fucking rich and my house is fucking big. So shut the hell up !" she yelled and then she was out.

"You were kind of rude, Louis. I am just going to see if she is okay. Why don't we take five ?"

"Oh, don't worry. They stopped filming. Too much swearing. I'll come with you, okey ?"

"I don't think that is such a good idea. She has angry issues. I don't want her to punch you. Don't worry, she'll be fine, she always is." She stood up and left.

"What the hell, Louis ?"

"Shut up, Zayn. I know I wasn't really nice,but-"

"Nice !? Mate, you were a jerk. I would have started crying. And that song ? If it was really wrote by her, then she's really talented."

And then we heard screaming.

"I am not going back there !"

"Don't be a baby. Come on, I am sure it will okay."

"I said I don't want to. You can't force me to."

"Enough, Sonia Alexandra ! You will come and that's final !"

"Fine."  A second later we saw them again. Sonia didn't have red eyes. I guess she wasn't crying.

"Look, I a-"

"Save it, Louis. I don't really care. I had worse. Let's just get this over with, okey?" "You can start filming, guys."

"So, what's your favorite movie ?"

And it went like that for an hour when aparently the time was off.

"Nice to meet you, girls. I look forward seeing you again." Liam said politely

"I bet." Sonia snorted.

"I really hope we'll meet again. Bye guys." Irina said, and then they left.

"I'm going to meet Taylor. I'll see you later, yeah ?

"Okey, take care pumpkin." Harry said kissing my cheek. 

"Is that my new nickname, or something ? "

"Yeah." he laughed.

After a short walk, I arrived at Taylor's flat. I entered and sure enough, there she was, watching TV.

"You'll never guess what happened."
