It's been a long time since I've updated and I'm really sorry about that! But I hope you enjoy the chapter! :]

...----...

"What do you want to talk about?" Sayuri signed back. Her legs were itching to get up and leave--but she knew Sakura was athletic, so the pinkette would immediately catch up to her--as she had been avoiding Sakura the whole day. She knew Sakura would try and talk to her about all the things that happened--

"Come on, give it a chance!"

Will I ever be accepted by Kakashi?

No.

"What about you, what presents did you get?"

"I got so much chocolate, but I ate them all."

"You're my only friend."

"Sayuri! Sayuri, are you okay?"

I wiped the leftover throw-up off on my sleeve. "I'm fine, Sakura-san."

Sakura sat down in front of Sayuri, bringing the brunette back to reality. The moment the pinkette sat down on the bed, Sayuri was reminded of how unique the girl was.

Sakura had pink hair. Sayuri had plain brown hair.

Sakura had emerald eyes. Sayuri had brown eyes.

Sakura was athletic, she didn't care what other girls thought of her.

Sayuri was the exact opposite.

"I just wanted to talk about...." Sakura trailed off, not knowing how to start the conversation. "It's just..."

Sakura sighed and closed her eyes. Sayuri knew what was coming. "You say you're fine, but really, you're not," she said. "I know something is wrong...and I know this is intruding, but I wanna help you."

As soon as Sakura finished, Sayuri got up from the bed. Sakura opened her eyes to see the backside of her roommate. "I'm sorry, I--"

"It's not your fault, Sakura-san," Sayuri sighed as she turned around. "But I'd like to keep things like this...private."

Sakura's eyes stared into Sayuri's, and noticed something she never noticed before.

Sayuri's eyes were beautiful,

But they were filled with pain,

Guilt,

Remorse,

And sadness.

"Y-Yeah, I understand." Sakura whispered, still entranced by the sight. Why didn't I notice sooner?

And when Sayuri left, Sakura trailed behind her. She silently watched the girl's every move.

I'm sorry Sayuri, but I have to help you.
