Chapter Sixteen. BLOOD

We sit at the table and finish our breakfast. I clean the dishes and we head off to school. I take Nishinoya's hand and we head down the street. Even though it's cold, we decide to walk.

We walk through the gates and I see Alex and Sascha. They both turn around and Alex sees me and waves. But then he sees Nishinoya. His hand intertwined in mine. And turns back around, jealously, sadness, anger on his face and walks away. Sascha follows him too, frowning. What have I just done? I practically dumped my two best friends for someone who played me and made my life hell for a long time.

I look at Nishinoya, tears in my eyes.

"What am I going to do now? See... I told you this would happen!" I shout and run towards the girls bathroom. I don't turn around, I keep running. I can sense he's running after me though.

I push the doors open and slam them shut. I slam my hands down on both sides of the sink, looking into the mirror, angry with myself. It was the same bathroom in which I broke the mirrors. They'd been fixed. Not a scratch. I look at my reflection, wishing I was dead. It would be great if I was.

"Heyy Aria..." Someone says. I turn around and see a person who I despise. With a passion. Mia.

"Leave me alone." I growl.

"Aww. Someone angry?" She pouts.

"Nah. You'll be in a minute though." I say, smiling sweetly.

"Huh?" She asks, confused.

"Nishinoya and I are on really good terms. Much better then what you two ever will have. Plus, we're back together." I smirk. Well, I think we are.

"What!?" She shouts, walking up to me. I look at her in the eye.

"It's true, ask Nishi." I say calmly.

"Who's that?" She asks, gritting her teeth.

"You don't know? It's Nishinoya obviously. You really don't know Nishi well do you?" She screams at me, holding my collar tightly. I brush her hands off whispering, "you have germs" into her ears and turning around to leave but she pulls me back by my hair, making me wince in pain.

"What is wrong with you! Nishinoya is a person Mia! Not a toy who you can claim yours. We're back together. Deal with it. Okay. Leave us alone! Get over him!" I shout at her but she doesn't let go of my hair.

"Nishinoya is mine." She growls, her voice deep.

"Are you sure?" I whisper.

"SHUT UP!" she screams, pulling my hair even harder making me wince.

"Sure. Although, it would be nice if you stopped pulling my hair like a psycho." She pulls it harder again and kicks my leg, making me collapse onto the floor. She punches my face and pushes me onto the floor, stepping onto my face. I now know what Nishinoya meant by lethal. I would have fought back if I knew she was like this.

"Stay away from Nishinoya or else." She says and walks off, slamming the bathroom door on my head. I try to get up but fail and stay where I am. Dizziness and pain overwhelms me and I black-out.

Nishinoya's POV

I run after Aria, drawing closer every second but she
I walk up to form and sit down. I see Alex and Sascha sitting together. Alex was... crying?

I walk over to them and sit down in front of them. The instantly look up, probably thinking it was Aria.

"Hey. I really need to explain. Plea-" Alex interrupts me.

"I don't want to hear it. You ruin everything. Leave me alone." I open my mouth but close it before anything bad happens. I stand up to walk to my seat but Sascha grabs my hand.

"Where's Aria?" She asks, glaring at me.

"She- uh. I-. She ran off after she saw you two get mad. Please let me expla-" Alex interrupts again.

"No." He says, gritting his teeth.

I shake off Sascha's hand on my arm and walk to my seat. I sit down and stare out the window. Minutes pass but Aria doesn't come. Two minutes until the register. Where is she? I turn around and see Alex looking at the door, worry on his face. He sees me looking at him and mouths 'where is she' to me. I shake my head and stand up. I walk towards the door and I feel a presence behind me. Alex. And Sascha.

"Where is she?" He asks, worried.

"I'm go into look for her now. Do you want to come?" I ask and they both smile and nod.

"Let's go." I open the door and see Mia standing there. She looks angry and annoyed but when she sees me, it gets worse.

"Heyy... Looking for your girlfriend?" I can practically picture Alex's jealously, "she's fine. Just maybe some blood."

"What did you do to her! I told you not to do anything!" I shout at her but she smirks.

"And I said I wouldn't if you didn't break your promise. But you did. Sorry." She says, pushing past me. I look at Alex and Sascha.

"Girls bathroom. Now." They nod and we sprint downstairs.
