Chapter 9 - BEEP

~Justin's POV~
Beep. Beep. Beep.
"Okay that doesn't matter to me. When will he wake up?" I hear Kale say faintly.
"Soon... hopefully," a male voice says.
"Hopefully? What the heck does that mean"
"RAEGAN" I can feel myself scream but my eyes won't open.
"Jesus," Kale said
"Justin, if you can hear me please calm down," Raegan says.
That is Raegan.. Raegan come on I need to see him. I use all my strength to open an eye. I don't see him so I open the other one.
"RAEGAN" I scream sitting up and looking around frantically everyone looks terrified while I'm shaking and looking around for him.
"Justin he's on FaceTime, here"

~Raegan's POV~
I look at the screen. And my whole face becomes sad. Flushed face, bloodshot eyes, trashy hospital robe.
"Well considering his test scores are fine and now that he is awake you're free to take him home," the doctor says.
We keep looking at each other. Kale and the doctor puts Justin in a wheel chair and he winces in pain. He hurt his spine from the fall. My heart aches. I want to be there for him.

~Justin's POV~
I want him to be here for me.

~Raegan's POV~
I want to stay on FaceTime forever.

~Justin's POV~
I want to star on face-
We lost connection when we entered the elevator. The world became blurry. My life went in sections.
Car, home, bed, food, no food, night, no sleep, day, no movement, night, day, no movement, week, 2 weeks, a month.

Kale went home, my mom tried to help, Raegan called but I couldn't pick up. I knew hearing his voice would only make this pain worse. My dad stopped trying. I was left to rot. Tomorrow was my birthday but that doesn't change anything. I can't move to Maryland once I turn 16. I can't do anything.
