I woke up at around 10:50 ish and Dylan wasn't beside me, which makes sense. He needs to be back in Toronto before 12, he might've already left. My bedroom door opened, telling me that he's still here.
"Good morning beautiful" Dylan said coming over to me, and kissing my head.
"Hey, I thought you'd already be gone by now." I said.
"Yeah I'm leaving in a second, I just needed to get my phone." He answered He picked up his phone as I sat up on the bed. He gave me my phone from my desk and gave me a kiss on the lips.
"I love you." He said leaving my room. I stood up and followed him down stairs too.
"I love you too, have fun." I said as he started putting on his shoes. "Uh, text me before you leave your meeting so I can tell everyone you're on your way, okay?" I asked. He nodded.
"Yeah sure." Dylan said as he grabbed his jacket. "Finish your homework, you have the whole day, it needs to be done." He said, picking up his hockey bag. I nodded.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." I ran a finger through my hair, pulling it over to the left side.
"I'm taking your truck because my car is still at my parents house." He said.
"Be careful with my baby." I said laughing a little.
"I love your giggle." He said grabbing my keys, and taking my house key, the Sportchek key off. Yes, I work at Sportchek. I've worked there since I was in grade nine, with an early birthday and the work age being 15 it works, so now I'm the manager of the equipment department. It's 11:05 now, and if Dylan doesn't leave in the next like 2 minutes he's going to be late.
"Thanks cutie, now get out of here or you'll be late." I said literally pushing him out the door. He tried to kiss me before I pushed him out the door, but seeing as I closed it in his face, he didn't get to do that. I sighed and went back to my room to check my work schedule, and it looked like I do have a shift from 12 to 5:30. I quickly got dressed into a pair or Nike leggings and my Sportchek shirt, with a pair of teal and grey thin sole Nike running shoes. I put my hair into a high pony tail, and go into the bathroom to do my makeup and brush my teeth. I did it really quick and go downstairs into the kitchen to make two eggs, a hash-brown, and three pieces of bacon. I ate it and made it within about 20 minutes and I grabbed my phone, and backpack. I went to the living room where my mom was and asked if I could borrow her car seeing as Dylan took my truck. She agreed and I finally left, then stopping at Starbucks to get a grande caramel frappe. I got to my work and saw my best friend there, Josh. I gave him a hug and put my bag in the back room and finished my frappe before my shift actually started. We work together in the equipment department, both behind the desk most of the time. After maybe 20 minutes of just ringing people's stuff through, and talking about random ass best friend shit, I went to go restock a few things, it was a slow morning we only needed one person at the desk. I went into the back to where the hockey sweaters needed to be restocked, why this is part of the equipment section I don't know but it is. I grabbed a box of sweaters and another box of hangers and went back out to the sweaters section. The first one I picked up was a Boston Bruins #51 Spooner sweater, the second was a Dylan Strome world juniors sweater. It made me really happy for some reason, and I smiled while putting it up
My shift was finally over after five and a half hours of mindless boring restocking, and customer service shit. I got home at around 6:30 even though my shift ended at 5:30, I picked a few things up from Bath and Body Works, seeing as it was in the same mall as Sportchek Dylan texted me right as I came home basically, saying that he was on his way. I texted Olivia saying that everything's good he's on his way home, so she started getting ready. I went to my room and let my hair down, brushing it through nicely. I then took my work clothes off and put on a nice long lace sleeve black dress.
