I drove over to Dylan's apartment, invited me over to just hang out, he was put down to Tucson Roadrunners in the AHL a while ago. I parked my car and went into the building, texting him to let me go up and he opens the door immediately. I went through and walked up the the apartment, opening the door and not seeing him anywhere.

"Dylan!" I yelled. He walked out of the bathroom, only wearing a pair of shorts and with wet hair. "You look like a rat." I told him.

"What else is new?" He asked causing me to laugh a little. He shook his head vigorously at me, causing some of the water in his hair to fling at me.

"Well this isn't really new, I mean we've been over this many times, but you really need to learn to shave." I said. He looked at me with puppy dogs eyes. "I'm not kidding, no matter how adorable you look like that." He laughed and hugged me tightly. His bare chest warm. I touched his back with my cold hands and he jumped back, causing me to laugh.

"Well you're just rude."

"And that's news to you?"

"Good point. But I still love you." He said walking over to me.

"Yeah, I love me too." I said. He leaned down to my height and I went on my tippy toes, and he kissed me. We pulled apart and I started rubbing my face. "See, this is why you need to learn ow to shave you rat."

"You're so salty and extra." He said kissing me again, this time not letting me leave. He then pulled apart and hugged me really tightly. "You're so cute. Also you don't have a class today right?"

"No I do, it's a night class though, it starts at like 7." I said.

"Well fuck I was gonna take you out to the movies and a dinner." He said.

"Why what's the occasion?" I asked running my hand through his still wet hair.

"Nothing much, only that I got the AHL player of the week." He said casually and started walking to the kitchen.

"Dylan!" I said excitedly. "That's amazing! I'm so proud of you!" I said going over to him and hugging him one more time. He's just got the best hugs man. He smiled widely.

"Thank you baby." He said, resting his head on mine. That's our height difference for ya. "How about we go for an early dinner and then I'll drive yo to your class?" He suggested.

"That sounds pretty good." I said.

"Only because it's food."

"No. Well I mean that but also because it's with you, and you just like won the AHL this week." I said. Dylan laughed a little.

"Okay I mean I guess I can take that. But mostly because it's food?" He asked as he went over to his bed, picking up the shirt that was laying there and pulling it over his head.

"Only if it helps you sleep at night."

"Oh it does."

"Then what ever floats your boat." I said grabbing my light purple Jansport backpack that was on the couch.

"Georgie floats my boat I don't know about you." He picked up his phone and keys off the counter and we started walking out the apartment complex and to his car.

"Okay Pennywise." I ran a hand through my hair and flipped it over to the right.

"Hiya Georgie, that's a nice boat you got there."

"Okay that was even creepier than the actual movie." I said.

"Well I'd hope so, you were like in tears laughing at the movie so." He laughed at me as he started the car.

"C'mon it was really funny." I said giggling even more.

"Only if you say so." He started driving to a local diner and turned up the radio just to tune me out. We drove in silence. Ever since our first date, the night we met, we never really talk in the car.

"Yo, I just wanna say something before we go in." Dylan said as he parked.

"What is it?" I asked.

"If you had learned to skate earlier in your life, we never would have met." He said. "We wouldn't both be in Arizona right now. We wouldn't go going to eat with each other right now. We wouldn't be dating for almost four years." I looked at him in the eyes.

"That was really random but I mean okay. But you're right. Or if you never came to Mississauga for your week off instead of just staying in Erie." I said.

"You're right too. But I'm so happy that you never learned to properly skate until you were like 15." I smiled.

"Me too, and I'm really glad you were there to save the day." I laughed. We both got out of the car. As we walked to the front doors Dylan grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers as we waited for a table to be cleared off, he took out his phone and took a Boomerang showing our hands and then me smiling. He posted it on his story and tagged me in it.

"Did you know that I love you." Dylan asked.

"I think I've heard it a couple times. But I love you too, more than you could ever know." I said. We got lead to the table and started looking at the menus. I just ordered a chicken Cesar salad and Dylan got chicken fingers, because he's literally a seven year old boy. We finished eating at about 6:20, and we had to hurry up to leave so I could get to class on time. Dylan drove down to the University campus and I grabbed my bag, still having 15 minutes until class but it does take almost 10 to walk there from the parking lot.

"Your car is still at my apartment complex." He said. "Do you want me to pick you up? You can stay at my place for the night and go back tomorrow morning."

"Do you have a practice tomorrow, I don't have a class until like 3 so it only matters if you have practice." I told him.

"Yeah but it's at 1 so you can still stay over." I nodded.

"Then sure, class should be done at around 9." I said.

"Okay I'll text you when I'm here then." he said. I kissed him quickly before getting out of the car and going into the buildings, walking about and going into my respective classroom. I sat beside Katelyn near the middle of the lecture hall.

"I'm staying at Dylan's tonight by the way." I told her.

"Mmm, okay. Just staying there, or are you gonna chill. If you know what I mean." She suggested wiggling her eyebrows, causing me to laugh.

"No, I'm just gonna sleep there and I'll be back tomorrow morning at around 11 ish."

"Fine, I guess that sounds good. Oh also I need to tell you something really important!" She said smiling. I nodded for her to continue. "So you know how I've been talking to Jordan a lot?" I nodded once more. "Well he asked me out on Friday!" She said happily. I gave her a hug, she really likes him now too, which makes me happy. Jordan liked her for a while and now that they're gonna be together is just really great. We kept talking about their date until the teacher came into the class. The class ended right on time and Katelyn and I walked out to the parking lot together. I gave her a hug before we parted ways and I went back with Dylan.
