"Come on, Stiles!" Scott laughed lightly. "We're supposed to be having the time of our lives. We're at a party."
I took a deep breath. "Well, Bree is still mad at me. I know you have Kira so you don't get it, but.." I paused, realizing what I just said. I looked up at Scott. "Scott, I am so sorry."
Scott shook his head, placing his hand on my shoulder. "Nah, you're right in a way." He pursed his lips and smiled. "I'm gonna go talk to her."
I nodded. "I'm gonna go... do something." Scott and I walked in opposite directions. I looked at everyone's face as I continued walking. I started wondering if I should paint my face or something. I continued walking and felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and someone kissed me. My eyes widened as I pulled back and tried to identify the person who kissed me. "Bree."
"Stiles." She stepped back.
I grabbed her arm. "Bree, please."
"You're heart is racing now." She locked her gaze with mine, shoulders falling. "I don't blame you."
I paused. "What?" The music's bass started booming.
She smiled. "I don't think it's your fault. I know you would never hurt me." She stepped closer. "I overreacted. If you say Seth was controlling you somehow, then I believe you."
I leaned closer to her. "Really?"
"Mhm." Bree nodded. "I now realized that you wouldn't act like that." She leaned onto me and whispered in my ear. "You would stutter and fidget more. You're a very nervous kind of guy." She stepped back. "And because I know you would freeze just as I did when I kissed you just know. You wouldn't have just shut more out like when Seth was controlling you to kill me."
I laughed lightly while grinning. "I do fling my arms around sometimes." Bree laughed. I smiled and held her hands. "I want to show you something. Come on." I led her out onto the roof.
Bree laughed and looked at me with a grin. "It is a very nice view, but I kind of live here with Derek. I see this view every night."
I smiled. "Well, wait until you see it all. Close your eyes."
Bree raised a brow.
"Ugh." I laughed. "Just close them." I whined playfully.
She laughed and closed her eyes. I moved my hand in front of her eyes to see if she was peeking. "Okay stay here."
Bree nodded, and I ran out to my car, getting Bree's surprise. I held her surprise behind my back as I ran towards her. Her brows furrowed as I approached her. "Is that cholorine?"
I grinned. "Ah, man. How did you know?"
"I could smell it."
I went behind her and hugged her, holding her present in front of her. "Well, you shouldn't always trust your nose. You should only follow it." I grinned. "You can open your eyes."
I moved my head to where I could see her expression. She opened her eyes and began to smile from ear to ear.
She looked at me, letting out a small laugh. "Stiles, you didn't."
I grinned, shrugging. "I did." I slowly leaned forward and kissed her cheek. "Happy four-month aniversary. Check the card."
She slowly pulled out the card and read, "even though I am not a werewolf, I will always howl for you so you will listen and find me. Love, Stiles."
"Always."
Bree paused and turned to me. I kissed her and slowly pulled back. "Now, we're at a party so... you wanna dance."
