Lucia's POV
I wonder what it feels like to be living in a loving home. To have parents who care about you and actually love you.
To feel wanted.
I toss and turn in my bed. My mind won't let me sleep, but my body tells me otherwise.
I'm going to skip school tomorrow.
I lie awake in my bed.
I wish Ethan were here with me right now.
I want to go back to last week when we were cuddling in my bed.

"Luciaaaa, wake up before you're going to be late" Summer shakes me.
"I don't feel well, so I'm not going to school today" I groan from her waking me.
She cautiously exits my room as I check the time and see that it's half past 6. I was able to fall asleep around 5:30ish.
I throw the blanket over my head and try to fall asleep when I hear my phone go off.
I forgot to turn off my alarm clock.
I grab my phone to turn off my alarm when I notice a text message from Ethan.

I couldn't help but smile to myself. He is just too sweet. I'm lucky to have him as my boyfriend.

"I'm sorry I haven't been the best mom" my mom sits on my bed.
"What? What are you doing in my room" I say confused.
"You've done nothing but try your best to be a good daughter to us" she confesses.
"I just hope you can forgive me and your father for what we have put you through growing up" she looks me in the eye.
I feel myself getting emotional.
"I love you. I've never said it to you before, but I am now. I love you Lucia" she tells me.
I lost it.
I begin crying.
I've been waiting for this my whole life.
"Lucia. Luciiaaa, wake up" someone shakes me.
I open my eyes.
It was just a dream.
I see Ethan sitting next to me.
I feel tears dropping from my eyes, and Ethan wipes them away.
"I came over when I noticed you weren't in health class. I let myself in through the window and noticed you crying in your sleep" he continues to wipe away my tears.
"What were you dreaming about" he asks me.
"I had a dream my mom told me she was sorry for everything she's done to me growing up, and she-" I begin to cry even more.
"She told me she loved me. She's never said that to me before. She's always said I love you to Rick and Summer growing up, but she never said it to me once" I begin to cry some more.
"Hey, hey, hey, don't cry now. She's not worth your tears baby" he cradles me in his muscular arms.
"I just wish that dream was real" I rub my teary eyes.
"I know baby. I know" he runs his hands down my back.
"Let's go out for some pizza even though it's still morning, and pizza really isn't a breakfast food. What do you say" he kisses my forehead.
"Sounds like a plan. I miss hanging out with you" I look up at him and kiss him.

"Why do you like fruit with your pizza" I make a disgusted face at Ethan as I watch him eat his pineapple pizza.
"Well why do you like to eat a plain cheese pizza" he fights back feeling offended.
"Whoa there, I was just curious. Don't take it to heart my love" I laugh at him.
"You can't just go bashing on pineapple pizza babe" he playfully rolls his eyes at me.
He is too precious.
"I love you, Ethan" I place my hand on top of his.
"I love you more, Lucia" he squeezes my hand.
"Not possible" I reply.
"Oh yes it is possible. I love you more than you can ever know" he kisses me, and I don't try to argue with him because I know he won't quit.

"Goodnight babe. I love you" Ethan kisses me.
I can't believe we finally got to spend the whole day together. Ethan's always busy with his work schedule.
"I love you too, handsome" I tell him as I watch his go through the window.
I honestly don't know why he keeps using my window to enter and leave my house for. He can use the front door, but he chooses not to.
"Remember, you're good enough. You will always be enough" he reminds me before leaving.
