⚠️Today's my birthday; I'm officially an adult today, that's crazy! I love you guys, and I have a warning for you (hence the warning signs lol). This book is coming to an end soon. I don't know how many more chapters are left, but I do know this book will be ENDING VERY SOON. I just thought I'd warn you because I feel like you guys deserve to know ⚠️
Lucia's POV
"Lucia, where were you" Rick says to me when I walk through the front doors of our home.
"We were so worried about you when you stormed out! Thank you Ethan for finding her" Summer runs and hugs me.
"Where'd you go? What happened" Rick hugs me as well.
Wow, hugging is becoming a thing now in this family.
"I almost jumped off a cliff today" I say while Ethan holds my hand.
"Oh goodness, Lucia" Summer begins to cry.
I have never seen Summer.
She never cries.
Never.
"Summer, don't cry" I begin to choke up. Tears are spilling out both of our eyes by now.
"No, how can I not cry!? I love you Lucia! What would I have done if you did jump off that cliff? I would have been so devastated. I would have lost my sister, my best friend" she hugs me and sobs into my chest.
"I said not to cry" I whisper as I begin to sob uncontrollably with her.
We continue to hold each other and cry. We just kept crying and crying until we felt like it was time to pull apart from one another.
"I have to go to my gymnastics practice right now, but I'm glad you're okay. I want to start spending more time with you from now on" she hugs me once more before grabbing her keys and leaving through the front door.
"I have to go grab lunch with this new girl I met yesterday, but I'll be back if you want to talk" Rick reminds me before he leaves to his room to get ready.
"Can we go lay down in my bed and cuddle" I look up at Ethan.
"Of course, lead the way beautiful" he grabs a hold of one of my hands.
I lead him up the stairs to my room and close the door behind us. I jump onto my bed and wait for Ethan to do the same.
He pulls me close to his body and wraps his arms around me. I snuggle my head into the crook of his neck while he plays with my hair.
"You know I love you right? And that I'll always be here for you whenever you need me" he speaks softly due to us being in a relaxing state.
"I know. I hope you know that I love you too and that I'll always be there for you" I look up at him.
"I don't want you to ever feel like you're alone" he strokes my hair.
"Because that's the worst feeling ever. To be in a room full of people but feel all alone. I love you so much Lucia, and I don't want you to ever question or doubt my love for you. You should never doubt your worth because you are everything. You don't deserve this pain that you feel inside of you. You deserve the world, and I intend on giving that to you one day" Ethan whispers.
