Explanations

Bahagya akong napatigil sa pagsalita sana ng makita kong ibang tao ang nasa harap ko ngayon. I've expected someone but not this someone in front of me. He was totally not what I've expected to see, honestly.

I looked at him. He wasn't the same Zeke Andrew I've known years ago. He bacame more matured now. Yung katawan niya, nagbago na rin. Nakita ko yung bulaklak na nasa kamay niya.

Ngumiti siya bago siya muling nagsalita.

" For you, Hon" Saad niya bago niya binigay sa akin yung bulaklak na kinuha ko na lamang dahil sa gulat ko.

Sa hindi ko malaman laman na dahilan, bigla na lang tumibok ng napakabilis yung puso ko.

Damn it! Stop beating fast. I muttered to my heart.

Diba nga nakamove on ka na. Ba't tumitibok parin yung puso para sa kanya? Gustong gusto kong sumbatan ang aking sarili.

" A-andrew, how dare you stand infront of my door now" Iyan ang unang lumabas sa bibig ko. I didn't formulate it. It just came out.

Hindi ko alam kung nananaginip parin ba ako o sadyang nababaliw na siguro ako ng makita ko ang tipid niyang pagngiti sa naging tanong ko sa kanya.

" Always the same, Cassidy. My Cassidy. I know that I owe you a lot of explanations now. Alam ko rin na kinamumuhian mo ako ngayon. I've known you to much for expecting everything that you might subject me to, Hon. And I'm ready for all the answers you wanted to hear from but I can only do it when you let me inside your place." He stated as a matter of fact.

" Your explanations are long way too late now, Andrew. You're wrong, I'm not interested with your explanations right now" I lied. It was completely a lie. The real reason is that, I'm not yet ready for any conversation with him.

I was about to close the door when he forcefully stopped me from doing it.

" I know you want to hear me out, Hon. You're just too shocked with my sudden presence. And I know you too well for that matter" He said. Lahat ng sinabi niya totoo.

" Bakit ka pa kase bumalik ha. Puwede na mang hindi ka na lang nagpakita pa ulit. Mas magiging masaya pa ako." I told him. All emotions that I've tried to keep from him is slowly starting to be evident.

" Because I wanted to fix the mistake I once had done. Because I wanted to see you again. Because I wanted to explain myself to you. Because I wanted to hear you say my name again. Because I fucking miss you so damn much. Bacause I still fucking love and because I want you back" He breathed before finally entering my place causing me to step backwards.

" Ang kapal din ng mukha mo ano. Do you honestly think, I would just give in with all your words and proclamation of love. Do you honestly believe that I would just welcome you with open arms knowing that you came here to have me back? Well think again Andrew, All you thought were wrong. Matagal na kitang kinalimutan" I told him but the next thing he did really got me off guard.

He suddenly removed his shirt.

" What the heck are you doing, Zeke Andrew!" I almost yelled at him but I immediately had the capacity to swallow all my words when I realized that I just saw a mark.

It wasn't just a mark, for heaven's sake.

Nakita ko 'yung marka na nanggaling sa isang malalim na operasyon sa puso niya. Hindi man ako isang doktor, alam ko kung saan galing ang markang iyon.

He slowly took my palm and placed it directly on his heart.

Ang init niya. Waves of unknown electricity maneuvered my whole being like a current.
