Chapter 1
Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?
(Elsa's PoV)

I woke up to a rough shaking on my arm. "Elsa?" A squeaky voice said. "Elsa wake up!" I opened up one eye to see my little sister, Anna. I can remember that night perfectly. Anna was so young.

"What do you want, Anna?" I say.

"Do you wanna build a snowman?" That gets me up. "Absolutely!"

Anna's already in her snow stuff but I rush to my closet and grab a warm dress, boots, and a cloak. My dark brown hair falls in my face so I pin it up.

Anna pulls me down the stairs to the door. I have to shush her to keep her quiet. We weren't exactly supposed to be going out in the middle of the night.

It was cold outside. The wind bit at my face but I always liked that feeling. Anna and I would always go out to play in the snow and we would always come back inside shivering and shaking. Then Mum and Dad would have the servants make us some nice warm hot chocolate.

The best snow for making snowmen was always outside the gates. I opened them up and Anna ran through. I left them open so we would be able to get back inside when we were done.

Anna had already begun building. "Wanna race?" she asked.

"You already started?"

"I'll give you a head start." I considered it and then nodded. "Ready," I began, "Set, Go!" I rolled the snow into a ball and began rolling it around in the snow. Anna began shortly after.

She was pretty fast for a 5 year old but I was really good at making snowmen for a 10 year old. I had finished my base in minutes and was already starting on the middle. Anna was still making hers. It was getting huge.

The snow and wind had picked up a bit since we had been out there. The ground was completely covered in snow. Anna's snowman was getting so big she could barely push it. I watched her a bit until I noticed we were right next to the fjord.

Anna was dangerously close. "Anna wait!" I yelled. But it was too late. Anna pushed her ball of snow onto the thin ice and if broke right through, dragging on in. "Anna!" I screamed. I began to run towards her when a hand grabbed my arm. I looked up to see my mother standing above me.

My father ran to the fjord where a large hole had formed. Anna's hand was barely sticking out of the water. He grabbed it and pull an unconscious and shivering Anna out of the water.

He pulled off his coat and wrapped it around her. "Quickly," He said "Inside." We all ran inside; tears were streaking down my face. How could have let this happen? I thought.

Once inside, my parents put Anna directly in front of the fire. Minutes passed and she still wouldn't warm up. Finally my father said, "I know where we have to take her. If we don't she could die."

So then I got on a horse with my father while my mother rode with Anna. I asked my father where we were going and he answered, "A place you've only heard about in fairy tales."
