Chapter 23
I stared down at the steaming cup of tea in my hands not really wanting to drink it.
Alexandra and Dominic would occasionally look at each other and them me.
"It was a rouge" Alexandra stated, making me shift my eyes to her
"Huh?"
"It was a rouge who took her, a wolf without any pack" She stared down at me, hands on her hips.
"I've already asked my pack to track down the person who took her until then we cannot make any assumptions as to why May is associating this person with Aurora" Dominic rose from his desk his black eyes showed his uneasiness as they roamed over my face
"By the time we caught on her he left and ran away, obviously knowing we were coming. It's just a matter of time before we have the information in our hands" His deep voice had me frowning.
Alexandra nodded.
"Please excuse us Alexandra"
She nodded again and left without a word.
I sighed putting my cup down not really wanting to look at it.
I stared down at the ground feeling confused. I was human. How could I possibly be a part of all this.
I felt Dominic crouch down on his knees to my eye level but I didn't look at him.
"Aurora" I felt a gentle hand on my chin, softly tugging it up to meet his eyes.
His eyes shifted back to his blue ones as he stared into my greens.
"Don't worry about anything" He whispered his free hand grabbing my hand and gave it a squeeze, making the sparks shoot up.
I couldn't help but smile at him.
Seeing this the corners of his lips turned up slightly and they matched his eyes.
His hand shifted to my face and cupped my cheek.
I loved the feeling of this.
It felt like home.
"I also need to talk to you" The softness in his eyes wasn't really gone but there was a hint of seriousness in it too.
I nodded at him motioning him to go ahed. I didn't want to talk when he was touching me.
Probably gonna sound stupid af awkwardly stuttering.
"There's a ceremony that all Alphas have to conduct" he stared at me dead in the eye
"It's where i officially introduce you to my pack, everyone already knows who you are but we still have to make it official. You would officially be my luna"
There was an emotion in his eyes that I couldn't quite decipher.
"Luna?" I asked confused
