"Please don't do this"

"Please" I cried

The hold on my throat tightened, those red eyes stared with pleasure down at me. Pleasure as they took my life with their own hands.

"HELP M-" i tried to scream but i was shaken up.

I bolted up meeting with the sunlight in my room. My chest heaved up and down as my hands flew up to my throat.

It was just a dream.

A door banging really loudly downstairs caught my attention with a cry of relief. It sounded like Alexandra. I quickly checked the time to see it was eight fifty five. I jumped out of my bed, not caring to wash my face or put my shoes on.

Please let it be what i think it is.

I quickly ran downstairs where i could hear the voices. It was Alexandra. She was crying. There were deep voices. I could feel Dominic was here too. I quickly pushed the door to the office open.

Alexandra had her back towards me as she clutched a small child to her chest. The child I recognised immediately as May. I let out a breath of relief I didn't realise i was holding. May was crying softly into her mothers neck.

I couldn't help but smile at the scene.

Through the corner of my eye i saw Dominic dismiss another person and walked towards me. I snapped my eyes to his tired looking face. His white button shirt looked dirty the first few buttons undone or broken like he was in a fight.

I raised an eyebrow at him but smiled. He stood next to me and sighed.

"What the fuck happened to your face?" He whispered

"Grow up" I rolled my eyes at smacked him playfully

He gave me a little smirk and before I could say something Bars came running towards me.

"May is back!" He hugged my leg and I laughed ruffling his hair.

Alexandra turned towards us her teary red eyes were full of relief and happiness as she smiled at me and Dominic. I smiled back and made my way towards her but frowned when May flinched away from me.

I froze, looking at Alex who looked equally confused.

"Alex we need to show her to the pack doctor just in case" Dominic spoke from behind me.

Alex just nodded.

"I'll take May you get Bars" Dominic reached for May and she stretched her hands to him without hesitation curling herself into Dominic's broad form. I frowned at the action.

Did i look too scary right now?

"I'll meet you in an hour okay?" Dominic's soft voice pressed against my ear made my knees go weak.
