Chapter 10

Readers p.o.v

I struggled hard against the person that was holding me from behind

"L-let me go!" I struggled but they then turned me around and my eyes widened.

"Babe? What's wrong?" Offender looked at me with a very concerned expression on his face, his arms wrapped around me. I looked at him then sighed slightly with relief, my heart beat going back to normal.

"S-sorry, I thought someone was in the house" He stroked my cheek gently

"Its only me darling, but what got you freaked out so much?" I looked at him

"I heard something smash, so I got jumpy" He nodded

"Where did the sound come from?"

"The living room I think.." He nodded then held my hand and walked into the living room. I looked inside and saw a vase smashed on the ground that had been next to an open window. I smiled slightly then he walked over and picked up all the broken pieces, before shutting the window.

"See, nothing to worry about" I nodded

"Yeah, sorry for screaming, I just didn't realise it was you" He threw away the pieces then walked back to me, wrapping his arms around my hips then gently kissing my head.

"Its fine my love, I'm just glad your okay" I cuddled against his chest and relaxed as he held me close, though one thing was still bothering me. Offenders brother, Slenderman. Luckily offender hadn't killed me, but I doubt the Slenderman would hesitate to end my life. I stayed close to offender, trying to get those thoughts out of my mind, but it wasn't working.

Offenders p.o.v

I looked at her and held her close. Though she was telling me she was fine, I could tell something was off. I gently scooped her up in my arms and brought her upstairs to bed, laying her down and spooning her body against mine. She cuddled against me, but still remained silent.

"Darling, if something was wrong, you would tell me, right?" I looked at her and she looked back at me.

"Of course I would.."

"Then why aren't you telling me what's wrong?" She then slightly looked away and I placed my hand on her jaw, gently making her face me "Babe?"

"Look...its nothing important, I'm just scaring myself over nothing"

"If its scaring you I want to know, please, even if you think it doesn't matter" She looked at me then sighed.

"I just...I realised that your brother was...Slenderman, I saw a photo. I guess it just scared me a bit..." I looked at her and nodded

"I see" She looked at me.

"I love you, and no matter what I wont leave you, but what if your brother doesn't like me because I'm a human? What if...he tries to kill me..." I then held her hands tightly

"I won't let that happen baby" she looked at me "I promise, he won't lay a hand on you, I will protect you. And besides, he may not like you, but my other brothers will and they will also help protect you" I smiled

"You promise?" I nodded

"I promise, now why don't we forget about this for a while, and go to my little surprise that I've set up for you" she nodded

"Okay" I picked her up bridal style and kissed her head

"Then go get ready my fair lady"
