That day you were a little stressed. You had two tests that week, and a lot of homework, so you decided to take a short walk to clear your mind.
You were walking down the street, when you heard a car engine and boys shouting from behind you. You looked back, and to your luck, it was a mustang with a group of stupid socs.
"Hey, greaser," said one of them, "what are you doing walking by yourself, don't you have a boyfriend? But what am I saying. How is this piece of shit gonna have boyfriend" all of them started laughing and they got out of the car. You looked at them scared, but before they could touch you, a boy with greased hair appeared and said "hey, leave her alone,"
"And what if we don't want to" said the soc.
"I'm not asking you if you want to or not, I'm telling you to leave her alone," he said getting out a switchblade.
"Let's go guys, it's not worth it" said another soc. They all got in the car and left. You sighed in relief. For a moment you thought they were going to beat you.
"Are you okay?" The boy asked.
"Yeah, thank you so much. I was terrified," you said. You looked at him, and his face seemed familiar to you. "Have I seen you before? You look familiar" you asked.
"Yeah, we go to the same school, you are in my English class," he told you.
"Oh, yeah, you are Ponyboy. I knew I had seen you before" you said smiling.
"Were you taking a walk?" He asked.
"Yeah, do you want to come with me?" You said.
"Sure!" He agreed.
You started talking about school, you interests, hobbies...
It was getting late, so you both had to go home, but you agreed to talk again tomorrow at school.
Two weeks later
You and Pony had become very close friends, and you had started liking him. You didn't tell him because you were scared it would ruin you relation and you wouldn't be friends anymore.
That day he asked you if you wanted to go to the park. You happily agreed, because if it was with him, you could go to China.
You were sitting on the couch in your house, waiting for Pony to pick you up, when someone knocked on the door. You opened it, to find a really nervous Ponyboy.
"Pony, are you okay? You look nervous" you asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay, I just need to talk to you" he said. You started getting nervous too. What if he is mad at you. What if he doesn't want to be your friend anymore.
The two of you walked to the park in silence. When you arrived, you sat under a tree, and Pony sighed.
"Look Ryan, you are the best girl that I have ever met, and... I really like you," he started saying. You couldn't believe what your ears were hearing, "and I just wanted to ask if you would be my girl," he said looking at you in the eyes, though you could see that he wanted to look somewhere else. You were shocked.
"Uh, Pony, I..." You started saying.
"That's okay. If you don't like me that's okay..." he said, now looking at his feet.
"No, Pony, I like you too. I really like you," you said smiling. Pony looked at you, and you kissed him. It was sweet and loving. His lips were soft. He started moving his lips slowly, his hand in your hair, making you feel butterflies in your stomach. When you pulled away, you looked at each other's eyes. He had the brightest smile on his face, and so did you.
"I love you Ryan," he said softly.
"I love you too Pony"
