Peter Pan never really died, not fully.
Neither did Felix, and after Pan's curse in Storybrooke, the lost boys arrived in Neverland. Felix was granted magic and wanted to revive Peter Pan.

I've been in Neverland a while.
Lilith brought me to a peak on the mountain with a beautiful view of the horizon. We sat there and watched it. The moonlight sparkles beautifully on the water. "What's your story?" I asked. "My story doesn't matter. I'm nothing but a demon." Lily replied, carving a stick with her hunting knife.

"What makes you a demon?" I asked "It's the meaning of my name. What's the meaning of yours?" She replied "Defender of Mankind" I said. I told her my story. The important moments in my life. She proceeded with telling me hers, she lived a simple, lonely life. She didn't have her parents around much. "So he has a hook for a hand?" I asked. "Indeed he does." Lily said. We laughed a little.

She looked at me when I turned to her. "Do you have time to teach me how to sword fight now?" I asked "There's no time in Neverland and yet, all the time in the world. Of course I can. Stand up." She said and got up. She drew her golden-handled pirate sword she called Eternal Night. I drew The Vorpal blade as I stood up.

Hours later...

"Thank you." I said, sitting down. "Anything for you." She said "I love you." "I love you too." I told her. We began walking down the mountain, holding hands.

A year later

"I believe you're ready for the test now." Pan said to Me. "Daddy, why? I love him, you don't need to do this." Lilith said "Actually I do. No one fools with you under the eye of Pan." He said. I nodded and he teleported up somewhere else.

"This is where you start." He said. The test began at a rope course that went high into the trees. "Wonderful." I said. It was going to be simple. I was good at climbing. "It's old. It could collapse at any moment." Pan said "That makes it a little more complicated but, I assure you I can handle it." I said "We'll see." He replied. I began climbing the latter to the top. The steps were beginning to fall not long after I step on them. I began to climb faster until I reached the top.

For the most part, everything was fairly easy. Not much broke. I got to the final part of the course and it was a 50 foot drop onto the jungle floor. You had to jump onto a rope and swing in between a 20 foot gap between two trees. I was nervous, I didn't want to jump into my death. "Don't let this take forever." Peter said from the bottom.

"Sometimes forever is just one second."
I said and jumped. I got to the rope and climbed back up the 10 feet I fell. I began swinging back and forth and back and forth. KRAK! The branch the rope was attached to broke. The rope fell lower and was breaking apart. I climbed back up and grasped onto the branch just before the rope broke. I climbed it to the other platform. Pan moved me down to the bottom.

"Well done." He said "But that was only the first part of three." I gulped. Suddenly, one by one, lost boys came at me. I drew my sword and stopped them. It was simple now, with what Lily taught me. Then, using fallen branches and moss, Peter Pan's magic created a forest monster. It looked at me and stomped closer. I had to be 25 feet tall! It had a wooden sword too.

"Oh, Rocking-horse flies." I said.

I started to run. It chased after me, knocking down trees. I was nearing a cliff. And that's when it hit me, how to deadbeat this thing. I ran faster towards it. Near the end, there was a log. I hopped over it and backed to the left side of the cliff. The answer was to not sword fight with it at all, but to trick it into falling. It kept running and tripped over the log. As it's body drew close, I swung my sword.

"Off with your head!!" I shouted and chopped it off. The words echoed through the woods. Lily could probably even hear it. "Very good." Pan said.

"Now the final test." He said a waved his hand. The edge off the cliff broke and I began falling with it. A vile of pixie dust appeared in my hand and I poured it out and began flying. I dodged boulder after boulder, until I didn't see a smaller rock coming. It hit my head and I passed out.

I woke up at the camp. "YOU ARE NOT WORTHY." Peter Pan said. I was tied to a tree. "I don't need magic for this." He said and punched me. The lost boys cheered. A second and a third. They kept cheering. The pain was unbearable. I could not allow this be the way I die. Pan came close to my face and said "What were you thinking when you got close to my daughter?"

I moved my head forward and hit his, hard. He punched me again and I blacked out.
