Can You Ease My Mind?

Petra poofed the three of us to a cave on the island and had me in another room. "Kenzie! Emma! Are you ok?!" I called "The won't hear you right now." Petra said. She immobilized me in a wooden seat. "What do you want from me?" I asked "I want to have a chat with you, some catching up. And what I want is none of your concern." She replied with a grin. "So where did you go after Wonderland?" Petra asked.

"My new home, Storybrooke, a land without magic where you would be powerless." I said. "Well we both know you're lying now don't we? Because how could you get here from there without magic?" Petra said.

We sat silent for a moment.

"Why did you leave Wonderland?" Petra asked "I was exiled by Jafar..." I said quietly "For what reasons?" She asked "Robbery, Murder and..." I hesitated "Spit it out lost boy!!" Petra yelled "I don't have to talk to you..." I looked down and started to tear up.

"Wimp!" Petra scoffed. A tear rolled down my cheek. "I know what it is, the thing with the other boy, correct? I bet you wanted to. Didn't you?!" She slaps my face. She immobilizes me but I don't move. "Get up! Fight back!" She said. She kicked me to the ground. "Don't let the ghosts of your past haunt you!" More tears streamed from my eyes.

"I don't want to remember my past!!!" I yelled. Petra picked me up by the front of my shirt and I stood. "But it'll ease your mind." She said and pulled a knife and cut across one of my cheeks. "That's going to leave a mark." She said. "Why won't you let us leave Neverland?" I asked "I have my reasons." Petra replied. "We will find a way out." I assured her.

"We'll see." She said.

I glared at her "Your girlfriend will be hurt too... soon." She said "Don't you hurt Mackenzie!!!" I yelled. She poofed me away. I was in the woods. She poofed Kenzie and Emma into the woods as well. They notice the cut on my face, the bruise and as well as the tear streams.

"Oh my god, Alexander!!" Kenzie screamed and hugged me. "What did that Witch do to you?!" She said angrily. I began to return the embrace "I'm fine. Are you?" I ask. Kenzie pulled back and looked at me. She had tears in her eyes. "As long as you are I will be too." She said "I love you." I told her "I love you too." She said. I went digging through my bag and pulled out a blue leaf.

"Could you place this on my cut?" I asked her. She took it. "Of course, but why?" She asked "Its called Solstice Leaf. It absorbs blood and helps with the healing process." I told her "Oh, I understand." Kenzie said and placed it on my wound.

Later, the three of us headed towards the water. Only to find a cliff at the edge of the woods. "Is there any way we can get down to the beach?" Kenzie asked. Petra appeared "Well that direction will take you straight to the underworld!" She said sarcastically. Emma had her hands out, ready to use magic. "Put those away, Mrs. Jumpy." Petra said, looking at her.

The island volcano began to rumble. It cracked the edge of the cliff on which Kenzie was standing on. "MACKENZIE!!!" I screamed. She screamed too. But we saw that Petra held Kenzie's hand and saved her life.
Was she becoming good? The enchantress pulled her to safety "That would be a nasty fall." She said "You saved my life, thank you." Kenzie said.

"Come with us!" My girlfriend suggested.

Petra seemed hesitant "But Neverland is my home..." she said sadly. The volcano began leaking molten lava. "We need to hurry!" Emma said. Petra closed her eyes and opened a portal. "Go. I'm staying." She said. "No!" Mackenzie pushed her into the portal. "You'll thank me later!" She said.

Emma jumped in too. Kenzie took my hand and we went in together.

We returned to Storybrooke near the library. The Charming Parents were on a walk. "Oh my goodness!" Mrs. Blanchard exclaimed and the parents hugged their daughters. They all began having a conversation. I approached Petra, who hadn't gotten up yet. I held my hand out, but she got up on her own. "Maybe there is a bit of good in you, Petra." I said.

Emma walked over to us with her father, who put an enchanted cuff on her. "Petra we're taking you to a cell until further notice." He said "But I got them here!!" She yelled. "You're still a villain." Emma had her arms crossed and glared at Petra. The two brought her into a police car and went in the direction of the police station.

I walked to Kenzie. "That was quite the adventure." I said "And now you have your heart back!" She exclaimed. She held both of my hands in hers and we kissed while smiling. "Okay, before you say anything I won't tell your father!" Mrs. Blanchard said. We pulled back and smiled at her.

"Mom!!" Kenzie whined.
"Let's go home and see Ashley. She missed you, you know." Mrs. B. said. The mother and daughter walked home. I walked to the library. "You've missed a lot of your shifts. Explanation?" Belle asked "A trip to Neverland to retrieve my heart." I told her the truth.

Belle shrugged and continued working. I went to the bookshelves and began to organize them in the requested order.
