There's No Place Like Home

Flashback:

"I feel as if I should do something for you." Zelena said "You don't need to, I should probably get back home. Which way is Wonderland from here?" I asked "Why, you're in another realm." She replied. "But how do I get back home?" I said "You will, eventually. I've decided I'm going to do something for you. I never got anything special for my birthday and you shouldn't suffer the same life that I did." Zelena said.

She lifted her hand and we appeared on the yellow brick road. "I can't believe I'm really here! I thought this place was just a story." I exclaimed "You are free to roam Oz if you like then Alex. I'll leave you to do as you please." Zelena said and she disappeared with a swirl of green smoke. I walked along the yellow brick road down quite far. I saw something in the distance... a Scarecrow! Just like in the book!

"Hello?" I said after running to it. Nothing. It must be fake. Maybe this is all a dream, and I'm coming up with a Wonderland of my own in my thoughts. I started back for Emerald City, which was just beautiful. As I arrived and began to walk through the city, people would greet me nicely and offer something and say "Happy Birthday Alex!" I got back to the castle and suddenly poofed inside.

I was now sitting at a table with a cake on it. "Have as much as you like." Zelena said "Happy birthday!" I smiled "Thank you so much for all this! It's been the best day of my life!" I exclaimed. I ate a large slice of the delicious chocolate cake. Zelena then gave me a small wristband made of thin, black rope. I put it on. "I guess you should get back home now." She said. "I don't want to but... I know hat I need to. No matter how much of an asshole Great Aunt Carol is, she needs me." I said and held the band in my wrist. "So how do I get back?" I asked.

Zelena gave me a green vile. "Drink this and chant 'There's no place like home' three times." She said. I drank it and said "There's no place like home, There's no place like home, There's no place like home." I woke up in my bed, still saying it. I had to get back to my chores.

Little did I know, that was a memory potion I had drank.

In Wonderland:

I woke up in the morning after our first night in Wonderland. We had tents, I was in the same one as Summer and Kenzie since we only had two. My girlfriend was sleeping so peacefully. I moved her hair behind her ear and smiled. I went outside the tent and found a dodo bird moping around outside. I took the 5 required feathers and put it in my bag. The small creature ran away as quickly as it could. I took a walk towards a cliff that had a beautiful view. I was holding my black wristband that I never knew where it came from, but I always kept it all these years.

Then I felt someone.

It was Kenzie, she was hugging me from behind. "Good morning birthday boy." She said. I turned around and gave her a kiss "Good morning." I said. "I'm excited for us to get back so we can celebrate. What's the next ingredient?" She asked "We'll have to enter the Dark Forest for Dark Flower dust." I replied, sort of worried. "Everything is going to be okay, you know." Kenzie said. "I hope." I said.

"That's what we always have to choose, is hope. You should know that." Kenzie said. "And do you?" I asked. She nodded "I choose hope." She said. "I love you." I told her. "I love you too Alex." She said.

"Happy Birthday."
