The Heart's Desire

"So how do we get there Alex?" Emma asked as we approached the cliff. I pointed to the old boat that took me to skull rock once before. "Using that and some pixie dust." I said. I happen to have a small pouch of it in my bag from Marvello's shop. "Where the hell are we going to get pixie dust?" Emma said. I reached into my bag and took it out.

"Here!" I smiled and handed it to her.

"So you want us to get into this boat and pour pixie dust on it and it will fly us to the island over there." Mackenzie said. I nodded in return.

"I am very sorry but there is a chance of us falling to our death and I am not ready to die, not yet." She said. "Do you believe?" I asked, staring into her eyes.
"Yes, of course." She said. "Then we will be fine." I assured her.

"If we are going to charge into a place that is probably going to be guarded by Pan, we need to eat and be ready to fight." The Savior said. "I brought some fruits and I had cookies but they got destroyed by the ocean." Kenzie said, digging through her bag then tossed Emma and I each an apple and water bottle. She bit into her pear.

"How will you get the heart because once Pan sees you guys?" She asked.
"I honestly don't know, Emma has magic so she can help." I said "I have magic too! I can help!" Mackenzie exclaimed. "It's better if you stay here, so you can't get hurt." Emma said.

"The Savior is right! You can't get hurt Kenzie!" I said. "Umm excuse me I can take care of myself. I am not staying." Kenzie replied. Was she upset with me? I wasn't calling her weak. I just didn't want her to get hurt or anything.

"Well, Kenz we want you to be safe. So stay here please!" Emma said. Kenzie rolled her eyes and said nothing to her sister "We just want you to be safe, we will be back and this time I can love you WITH my heart." I said.

I came up to her and took her hand. "Stay here please." I said slowly. I kissed her on the cheek. "We will be back by sunset." I said just before placing a second kiss at the center of her forehead. Emma approached her and gave her one on the head too. The Savior and I got into the boat and I poured the pixie dust. We flew down to Skull Rock away from the cliff.

"Let's go, Savior." I said as we got out of the boat. "Thank you for being there for Kenzie." She said as we got closer to the entrance. "I love her. I will always be there for her." I said. "She's been lonely before she met you. Ashley was hanging out with some bad kids and left Kenzie. You were the spark in her life that..." Emma said and suddenly stopped. I heard a thump behind me.

She was on the ground asleep!

"Where are you Petra?!" I commanded.
"Oh, you know. Here... There... and maybe... Everywhere..." I heard her voice echoing from different directions. "I'm not playing games, Petra. Wake Emma up and let me take back my heart." I said. "Wow. You're much more... Brave, than I remember." She said. "It's just so unfortunate that..."

"That what?!" I shouted.

She appeared behind me and cast a sleeping spell on me "That cheaters never win." She says slowly as I close my eyes and fall.

God knows how much later I wake up and find myself tied up. Emma and Kenzie were tied up next to me. The Savior was already awake. "Alex? Do you have any idea what happened?!" She asked "Petra put us to sleep." I said. Kenzie was beginning to wake up.

"Kenzie! You're okay!" I whisper-shouted. "You have a pretty deep cut on your forehead, what happened?" Emma asked. "Petra happened. What about you?" Mackenzie said "Petra." Emma replied. Kenzie began to move around. I wondered what she was doing. She ended up getting free of the ropes.

"I guess she didn't tie me up tight enough." She said and untied Emma and I. We ran over to the unveiled shelves of hearts "Which one is yours?" Emma asked. I still remember from that time ago. I took the box and handed Mackenzie my heart as I said "This one, now put it in me!"

"Okay..." she hesitated but returned it to my chest. I felt pain at first but then this spark of some sort. I looked at Kenzie and put my hands on her waist. I loved her fully and more than every before. I lifted her into the air then pulled her in for a kiss.

It was nothing like before, this one had more love and passion put into it. I lowered her to the ground and we kissed for a few more moments. When we finally pulled back she said,

"That was..."

"Not a one time thing."
I said with a smile.

She nodded and smiled back at me. We turned to the Savior who was completely disgusted. Mackenzie picked up her bag.

"Let's get out of Neverland!"
She exclaimed.

Emma and I nodded. The three of us headed straight for Skull Rock's exit until we heard footsteps coming from behind us. "You got the heart and escaped. Congrats. The problem is that you will never be able to leave Neverland."  Petra said, snickering.

"Just try stopping us!" Kenzie shouted.

"Stopping you will be the least of my problems." Petra grinned.

Knowing who she was, she had something villainous in mind.
