Hearts Still Ticking

I woke up inside Lilith's hut. I had a bandage around my head and my wounds were partly healed. I sat up from her bed. "Lily?!" I called "Hey I'm right here." She said, walking into the room. "I need to tell you something." I said. "Wh-what is it?" She said, worried. I grabbed my bag and a solstice leaf for the trip to Wonderland "I have to leave Neverland." I said "No, no you are not walking out that door unless you can tell me why!!!" She yelled, pushing me away from the door.

"It's your father. I can't live an endless life of pain and agony. I'm returning to Wonderland." I told her. "You're not leaving me!" Lily said. I walked out the door and headed towards the beach. "Stop, if you leave me, I will forever feel pain and emptiness in my heart." She said, following me. "Literally or Figuratively, seems like something your father would do." I said. I turned around "Come with me! We can leave Neverland and go somewhere in Wonderland." I suggested.

She looked at me with fear in her eyes "Neverland is my home..." she said. I frowned and continued walking. She kept following "I won't let you leave." She said "Watch me." I told her. I heard her yell and then I felt a sharp pain in my back. I couldn't breathe. Lilith had stabbed me "I told you, no one ever leaves Neverland... ever." She said.

She pulled her knife out and I fell. A tear fell from my eye. Was I going to die here? Just then, Peter Pan appeared and healed me. "Oh, sweetheart. Why do you get to have all the fun?" He said. Petra appeared too "Let me join in this torture.." she said and lifted me with her magic and began chocking me. I held my neck.

Up and away I went. Maybe 10-15 feet high. She then dropped me. "Aaghh!" I screamed in pain on impact. I slowly got up. And they laughed, and I ran as quickly as I could. I got to the beach and threw in my magic bean I stole long ago. "To Wonderland!" I said. I mid-jumped inside but something threw me away from the portal. That's when my old axe fell from my bag.

"We're not done with you, laddie." Pan said. I glared at him and threw something from my bag. Pyromancer's Sorrow. They were little red glass flame-shaped objects that burn what it hits when broken. Direct hit on his face! I got free and jumped into the portal just before it closed.

I landed in the woods. I got up and heard "Hands in the air. Don't think I won't shoot you now." I put my hands up, turned around and saw Christopher. "Chris?" I said with a worried look on my face. He was much taller now, and towered over me as Felix did. He didn't seem to remember me "How do you know my name?" He asked "We met two years ago, outside of central Wonderland." I said.

"Alex?" He said. "It's me." I said. He threw my golden watch "This was worth nothing, take it. I'll be on my way." Chris said, and began walking away. I picked up the watch. "Still Ticking." I whispered. As was my heart. I had made it out of Neverland alive.
