Mackenzie and I held hands as we walked through the woods. Her soft skinned hand in my right, and the bag from Granny's in my left. After a while we approached my tree fort I made by myself. Living with Great Aunt Carol years ago really helped with my woodworking. Kenzie started up at it "Its my tree fort." I said to her "Cool!" She exclaimed. I don't think she liked it very much. She took my other hand.

She raised the other one and we poofed to the inside of the hut. I was just shocked she could do that. "You have magic?" I asked. She nodded and smiled at me, then moved her hair away from her face. We looked around the room. My clothes were organized next to my wooden bed, I also had a working area and table.

I pulled out a chair for her. Mackenzie sat down while saying "Thanks." I placed her food in front of her. I sat down and smiled at her as she took a small bite. "Tell me your story." I said "My story?" She asked, a little confused. "Your life story. I want to know more about you." I said. "Oh ummm Well, my full name is Mackenzie Alison Nolan. I don't like my full first name so people call me Kenzie. I have a fraternal twin sister named Ashley who is older by 7 minutes and my birthday is June 8th. I'm the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming." She said, step by step.

"What else?" I asked eagerly.

"I love art and I've lived in Storybrooke my whole life. I have an older sister named Emma Swan and an older brother named Neal Nolan. I like to sing but I don't do it often" Kenzie said.

"Your voice is very beautiful." I told her and smiled. We finished eating and ended up sitting on the end of my bed. Kenzie nodded and said, "What about you Alexander? I want to hear more about you."

"My full name is Alexander Lucas Kingsleigh but I prefer to be called Alex. I'm the son of Alice Kingsleigh and Cyrus, the Genie. I was born April 17 2003. I was separated from my parents and now I live here." I said. I didn't want to go into detail with Neverland and other things.

Then suddenly, Mackenzie asked "Why do you like me?" I decided to be completely honest "Your personality. Your smart, funny and sarcastic and you're so beautiful. Your not like that girl Melissa. Is that her name?" I said. She blushed. "Yeah, I hate her. She doesn't like me at all." She said "Who wouldn't like a girl like you?" I asked.

She chucked a little "Lots of people at school." She said "I don't understand why." I said, staring into her eyes.

"You are different Alexander. You aren't like the boys at the school. I like different." Kenzie said. "Thank you Mackenzie." I said. She nodded and let her hair fall in front on her face once more. I reached out and tucked it behind her ear. Then I put my hand on her cheek. She looked up at me. I just had to lean in and kiss her.

Her soft lips touched mine...

I held both my hands to her cheeks. I loved it, it felt like the most right thing i had ever done. When I pulled back, our foreheads touched. "I want you to be my girlfriend Mackenzie. If you aren't ready I will wait. I wait for as long as it takes." I whispered. I meant it, I would wait centuries for her to truly fall in love with me. "I'm ready." She said.

We smiled at each other and kissed again. We spoke for a few hours about our interests. She told me about how she wanted to be an artist and go to New York University. I told her about how I was really enjoying my photography class and she told me about all sorts of cool things in Storybrooke.

We left my new home and walked around the woods. We saw that the sun was setting. Kenzie ran up a hill and I followed close behind. We stopped once at the top and admired the mish-mash of orange, red and pink in the sky. "It looks amazing! It's so beautiful." Kenzie exclaimed. "It truly is. The second most beautiful thing I have seen all day." I said to her.

"What's the first? Because there aren't many things that are this beautiful." She asked, still looking at the sky.
"Well you are definitely beautiful. So that makes you my first. This is second." I told her, I stood behind her.
She turned around and said "Thank you." And after, she took out her talkie ring ring device thingy.

"Alex, come here." She said and I got next to her. She held it up in front of us and pressed a button three times. It created tiny paintings of us called "photos". I figured out how that part worked and took a fourth of me kissing her cheek. Kenzie laughed and we looked at them. "I think we look adorable!" She exclaimed. I nodded even though the truth was she was the one who was adorable.

Suddenly, her talkie ring ringer began to ring and she put it to her ear. She said "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be? Oh my god! I'm so sorry dad. I lost track of time." Replies to quiet voice.

"I'm at the library doing some reading dad." She lied to her father. "Yeah, then I went to the library. I'll be home soon Dad. In ten minutes. Bye." She said and pressed a button to stop talking "What's wrong?" I asked. "My parents are wondering where I am and I have to go. See you tomorrow?" She said.

I kissed her on the cheek and smiled "See you then." I said. She ran down the hill and looted herself away. I headed back to my fort, finished my homework and took out my notebook. I began to write my own story of my life.
