I was alone, out of food, out of water. Where could I go? What could I do? I walked the streets of central Wonderland, looking down, kicking a rock. I looked up for a moment and I walked along. I saw the tall spires of the castle and the red heart-shaped statues on the top of them.

An idea hit me like a carriage!

But then I moved out of the way because I almost literally got hit by a carriage.

I was going to steal from the castle.

I threw a grappling hook up the tall, white coloured wall, and to my surprise, it stayed first try. I climbed up to the top and snuck past the guards. They were oblivious to what was going on. What a bunch of idiots. But that's what happens when you hire cards for guards.

Being lost, I had no idea where I was going. I eventually got to the dining hall. There was a long table with more food than I could imagine! I dove in immediately.

Suddenly, I heard a woman's voice say "Stop right there you thief." I turned around. How awkward it was for her to catch me stuffing my face with bread. She saw my face and reacted immediately. "Are you Alexander?" She asked. I swallowed and put down the rest of the bread. "Yes..." I said cautiously. "I knew your mother, Alice Kingsleigh. You have her eyes. I'm Anastasia." She said, approaching me. "Where is my mother?" I asked "Taken by Jafar. And for the past ten years he's been searching for you." Ana replied

"Why should I believe a word you say?" I said. I tried to run but two guards stopped me. "You don't have to believe me, but your parents gave you up to give you your best chance. Let him go." Anastasia said. I looked at her. I did believe her, then I ran back with the food I had taken. I'm sure she would've let me have it anyway. If she knew my parents at least.

Not too much later, a magic carpet flew into the streets of Central Wonderland from the kingdom in the sky. It was Jafar, I could feel it. "Give me the boy by the name of Alexander Kingsleigh. I know he's here. Just bring him to me." He said. That sold it, I put my hood on. I began to walk away from the crown of people "Hey, boy! What's your name?" A man said, grabbing me by the arm. I had to think of another name.

"Christopher." I said. The man believed me. I could hear Jafar chocking someone as I left the scene. But I could live running my whole life. I needed protection. I sought out the Jabberwocky.
