As soon as Albert and I step into the room, it turns dead quiet. Albert kissed my hand and walks over to his seat, next to Alexandrian, who didn't look too happy about what just happened. I go over to my own, not looking at anybody. I sit between Vandrel and Alena, who were both staring off to nowhere. Nobody was looking at anybody, which just made the air tenser. After at least 10 minutes of silence, the Council Elders take their places and begin the Assembly at last.

-"We are gathered here on this morning to go forward with the 988th Assembly of The Trinitarian Council. In this reunion, the plans for the union between the Shadow Heir, Albert Noxtrian, and the Twilight Heir, Darena Matrixlyn will be discussed. The union was requested by the Heir of Shadow at the last assembly of this Council. The Elders of this Council have decided that such union will indeed be very of benefit to the economies of both Realms, and therefore, we Elders have decided to allow this union to be held. The union will be celebrated in the Realm of Light, as it is meant to be done by tradition."- Galian states, hammer in hand. The tradition he's talking about dictates the following:

I seem to be the only person that thinks that this just mentioned is utterly stupid. I wonder, does it make any sense to have your marriage celebrated in a place that was designated by somebody a bunch of decades ago? It makes none, but that idiocy was on what tradition was built, so nobody can change that. I glance at Albert, he was starring at me, a smile deep on his face. I feel myself smile as I look at him, not even caring about what anybody would say.

-"Does anybody have doubts?"- Lighx asks. Nobody answers.

-"I guess there is none then. Now, what is to be done about the trial of Darena?"- Alexandrian asks, eying me. I could feel the shivers run down my spine. This guy doesn't give me a god feeling, even though he's going to be my father-in-law. The room tenses again.

-"Her trial was suspended, but a date for that is to be decided."- Galian answers, looking at Alexandrian, who is smiling, with a confused look. He looks like a rapist when he does that.

-"Why isn't that decided now then? It is a good time."- What is Alexandrian trying to do? This is suspicious behavior, even for him. I look over to Albert again ,and he's probably thinking the same as me. He's even frowning, which isn't usual in him.

-"Well, you do have a point Sir Noxtrian, but, that was not the purpose for this Assembly, and therefore, nothing must be done,UNLESS that the Members of The Council decide so."- Lighx answers, anger tattooed onto his face. Everybody just wants to leave, and Alexandrian isn't doing anything to make that happen anytime sooner. I bet he's making this reunion last to make everybody agree with him when he tells them his proposal.

-"Then, let's not take any longer and call for a vote. Those in favor of discussing the information concerning Darena's trial." Alexandrian says, raising his hand. Everybody does the same, except Lighx, Galian, Albert, and me. Another fucking 6-4. I'm going to kill myself. "A 6-4, if I am not mistaken. Anybody objects?" The ones who had their hands raised brought them down, looking relieved that this Assembly would be over. "Well then, when shall the young lady's trial be held?"- Alexandrian asks, looking happier than ever.
