Chapter 17

-"How are the armies going?"-

-"Very well my Lord. We shall be ready to attack in 2 weeks time as a minimum."-

-"That's good, very good indeed... and what about the Twilight Princess? How are things coming along for her?"-

-"It is said that her parents are back with her, and therefore, she can commence her training at once."-

-"And this training, does it take long?"-

-"No more than nine days if the person is skilled. May I know why you are asking My Lord?"-

-"Mere curiosity, no more. Now, please prepare my bath, I don't feel so well enough as if to stay and watch my army build up."-

-"Of course, your Majesty."-

*In the Twilight Castle*
-"So, you just need my approval for her to begin training?"- Derten asks Galian, whom he seems to like very much.

-"Yes. The sooner the better, because if the rumors about The Dark Lord assembling his army are true, we need The True Hero to be ready for anything."- Galian replies, also liking the past Twilight King.

-"Well then, I approve. What about you Darena?"-

-"I also approve. Council Elders?"- Darena replies, smiling widely at her father.

-"We approve. Darena's training will begin tomorrow at dawn."- Lighx says, smiling as well.

-"One last question, when does the Twilight Princess take the throne, as in officially, sitting in the Twilight Castle?"- Albert asks, glancing at his fiancée with a wide smile on his lips as well.

-"After you are married, her parents will be the ones to hand the throne to her physically, since the title is already hers. Understood Mr. Noxtrian?"- Alexandrian replies, not looking happy that his son asked such question.

-"Understood Reverend Noxtrian. May we be excused?"- Everyone in the room frowns, including Darena.

-"We being who Albert?"- Galian asks, rather annoyed by the fact that he no longer had the Twilight Throne.

-"My fiancée and I of course. Aren't we supposed to be making the plans for our union, which is meant to be celebrated next month?"- The expressions of those in the room are now relived and relaxed.

-"Oh yes, of course, forgot about that for a moment. Yes., you are excused."- Lighx says, and not even a second after he finished saying that, Albert grabs Darena's hand and bolts out of the room with her. Derten stares at the door in disbelief.

-"Somebody literally just stole my little girl."- He comments, turning to look at his wife, who held back a laugh.

-"She's grown up Derten, there's nothing you can do about that."- Darlena says, rubbing his shoulder. Derten smiles.

-"She grew up too fast."-

-"And we weren't around to watch her do so."- The Twilight Rulers turn back to The Council, wishing they could spend more moments with their daughter, since they had lost so much precious time, time which they could never get back. In the meantime, Albert and Darena were making the plans for their wedding.

-"Do we have to choose some specific colors?"- Darena asks, looking the different shades of every color that has ever been known to us and to the Trinitarians. Albert smiles.
