Chapter 12. Flashbacks

HARRYS POV

The whole day Niall was acting weird. He was nice, and then out of no where he acted like a ignorant bully. He finally fell asleep on the couch and I carefully lifted him up and put him in my bed. I closed the curtains, and put the sheets on him.

I turned the lights off and walked out quietly closing the door behind me.

I walked into the kitchen and pulled out some canned soup from the cabinet. I popped the lid open and poured it into a pan. I started the stove and let it heat.

A knock at the door came. And I was worried Niall would wake up, thank goodness he's a heavy sleeper. I opened it to see Barbara. Oh dead Jesus no.

She smiled and welcomed herself into my flat.

"Where's Niall?" She asked looking around.

"He's.. He, um. He's sleeping" I stuttered as Barbara made eye contact with me. Her big eyes grew onto mine.

"Be a doll and tell him I stopped by. We have a date tonight, he promised he'd be there" she said as she walked out the front door.

Wtf. What the actual fuck. I was boiling hot. I stopped the stove and rushed into my room.

"Niall get the fuck up!!!!" I almost shouted. Niall fluttered his eyes and gave me a confused look.

"You fucking shit !!! What the hell is wrong with you ??!!!!" I shouted as I threw the covers off of Niall.

"What t hell u talkin about?" Niall said.

"YOUR TAKING BARBARA ON A DATE!??????" I shouted. He looked away, he knew it was true. And he didn't even tell me.

I walked out. And grabbed my drench coat.

"Where you going?" Niall said as he ran to me. I smirked.

"Two can play this game" I said as I got into my car and drove off. Niall's face turned bright red, he looked sad. Good that fucking idiot ! Thinks he can play me. Well I'll give it right back to him. Fuck him.

I didn't even know where I was driving. Maybe I could get a bit to eat? I was starving. I stopped at McDonald's and ordered, chicken nuggets, and two burgers.

I ate in the car and threw my trash away.

I dialed Gemma's number. I had to tell her, I needed to tell someone I can't keep this secret for forever.

"H-harry" she said breathlessly. I heard a moan in the background. Ewe.

"Are you and Ashton fucking!?" I said getting grossed out. She cleared her throat.

"Can we meet somewhere.. I have something to tell you" I said. I was getting butterflies in my tummy.

"Yeah sure. Em the park?" She asked.

"Uh huh" I said as I hung up and drove towards the park.

"How long has this all been going on?" Gemma asked been chill. I looked away then back at her.

"When we went to the movies, and I stayed at the bar for awhile" I said honestly. She nodded.

"Well your secret is safe with me" she said as she stood up, and motioned me to too and gave me a big hug.

"I'm not sure if this Barbara lady is ok for Niall to be friends with.. She seems almost, harmful to what you and Niall have" Gemma said. I nodded.

We parted ways and I drove back home. I unlocked the front door to see Niall crying in his hands sitting on the couch. The house was dark and I flickered on the lights. Niall immediately stopped and wiped his remaining tears away. He looked at me and stood quiet.
